Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Yo! I'm ElementLegend. If you want me to help, you can definitely ask! Somehow, I don't mind violence in stories, so it's okay if you send that type of thing to me. But, I'm expecting you to write with proper grammar and spelling. We're all thirteen and up, we should know how to write. I get irritated when people don't spell things correctly. I may go on a rant. But please be aware of that before you send me anything. |

I really can get into stories if they're well written. I also can read really quickly and know exactly what's going on. I can find any grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes really easily. |

I've never really done too much beta reading or editing before...And I have a tendency to get way off topic. I also tend to mostly praise the work as far as plot and characterization goes. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
You may want to look at my preferences, but...I like to read stories that are not happy-happy, joy-joy. If you want me to read it, it has to make me cry, or laugh, or aww, or blush, or say wow, or yell at the characters, or have a fangirl moment. I've gotta feel something, otherwise, what's the point of a story? |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Okay...I'm just going to say, please don't make me read yaoi stories. It's not that I hate gay people, I don't. I just don't really feel comfortable reading them. And on top of that, I do not like reading romance all that much, unless it's ShikixNeku, EdxWinry, RoyxRiza, BoothxBrennan, CastlexKate, or UzukixKariya. Basically, I'm fine with canon, but if it isn't canon and/or it includes really mature content, I'm not going to want to read it. Also, for some odd reason, I don't like villans. I'm a hero person, so if they're the main character I will probably not read it, unless it's Sho (because I'm open about that character. And I don't consider Joshua, Kariya, or Uzuki villains by the way.) Finally, I don't like JoshuaxRhyme. I don't know why, but in my mind, they don't go together as well as KariyaxRhyme. So please do not send me those stories. |
