The homunculi wanted a new form of torture. Since Envy was the cruelest, they let them write fanfic. But when they wrote a 3 way between them, Spike and Fluttershy, they had to team up with Roy, Hawkeye, Ed, Al, Mei, Scar and the rest of the gang to kill the palm tree.
