You know, a lot of people really dislike Larry as a character, but I really do love stories like these. I love it when we're reminded of how close Phoenix, Edgeworth, and The Butz are as friends, and I'd love to see more of these types of stories more often.

To put it simply, this story was amazing. There are so few stories that give Larry more than a few retarded lines and half a brain, so reading this was awesome! I love every little detail in this, from the backstory flashes to Larry's biting temper (which we already see in the games, but you captured on a very beautiful level here), and everything in between. I wish more people would look at Larry like this, instead of just writing him off as the useless idiot and moving on with their lives. As few as they've been (and I can't remember them exactly), even in the games Larry has had at least a few moments of lucid seriousness, showing fully that he is capable of a higher train of thought. Thank you so much for writing this, and I hope more people can learn from your example!

I really like this story. How you described Larry's actions and thoughts, it was beautiful. I find it touching that Larry had always tried to help his best friends all the time, and we all know he's not gonna stop.

I completely agree with you about having more Ace Attorney games (there will never be enough of them), but hopefully they won't ever make a new DS (like a 4DS for example, maybe) so I don't have to buy the new console in case Capcom decides to create the game only for it... Running low on money here. *bangs head on a table*

I've never seen Larry portrayed like that, and it worked really well. I like how, when he was arguing with von Karma he was serious, loyal and determined, and when he walked into the courtroom he was back to Larry again. It seems to me like he wanted to hide it from his friends...

If I wore a hat, I'd take it off to you. Trio for the win! I like Larry's characterization here; it gives him a chance to shine as not just some reckless idiot who keeps coming back for comic relief, but a guy who's best friends with dear old Nick and Edgey, and is damn loyal to the both of them, no matter how he usually acts.

Great job; next time I log in (with that obnoxiously long pen name that doesn't even fit in the guest reviewer's box *sweatdrop*), I think I'll favorite this.

Wow, you really made Larry seem like a great guy in the end. Larry's an idiot, but not a complete idiot I don't think, and you let that shine. He just runs blindly wherever his heart takes him, then he thinks it out from there. Larry standing up to von Karma, that's just really awesome. I loved reading this.

A sixth game would be... Amazing. I'm not going to get my hopes up until I play Dual Destinies, but I'm with you in that I'd don't want this franchise to ever die out. It's one of those things that really could keep on going forever, with such lovable and complex characters and the elements of life moving forward whether you're ready or not. There's enough room in the courthouse for a few more adventures, at the least. :)
