 Author has written 31 stories for Person of Interest. The truth is stranger than fiction – I watched my first episode of Person of Interest when I received the Season 1 DVDs a few weeks ago. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Yes, I had never actually seen an episode, even though I started writing fan fiction about it in August. Like most kids, I blame my parents, in this case my mother – she absolutely adores this show. Like a skilled operative, she never gave out any information - while she would go into great detail about David Letterman or the latest PBS British import, with POI, she would simply say Person of Interest, and then she would smile. Over time, her reticence started to pull me in. During the summer, I checked out some clips on YouTube and started to realize what I was missing. Then I stumbled across some fan fiction. It was a revelation. The passion, inventiveness and intelligence of the fan fiction writers blew me away. I laughed, cried and often was insanely jealous of these talented writers.
