This is one of my favourite Careese stories. I love how Reese acts and how frustrated Carter is with him, and you build up the sexual tension perfectly. And it also manages to be very sexy without being smutty.

Slightly different take on the 'truth serum' angle. Enjoyed the ride - I can totally see Joss needed a bit of time to process the change in her relationship with John, especially girding herself for the possibility he might not remember. Nice.

Loved the twist on this with the truth serum instead of alcohol. Its so them. And that kiss was perfection. This was a joy to read.

I'm only an occasional Reese/Carter fan, I will admit, but this one got me. I could have seen the two of them getting together in this fashion, and you did a great job of keeping both of them in-character, going just far enough but not too far with John's reactions while he's drugged, and you captured Carter's frustration with the situation well. Great story! I really enjoyed it. :)

I swear, I love how you wrote loopy Reese. His loud whispers and little waves cracked my ish up.

"He'd laid his head back, eyes closed, and his arms spread out over the back of the couch. pulling his tattered shirt tight across his chest. He'd propped his feet on her coffee table, his legs wide. Her throat suddenly dried up at the sight."-She ain't the only one, mkay?

"And you look beautiful."-You know how you have those moments reading fic where you gotta pause and be like Aw sookie sookie now? I had that moment right here. LOL I just loved the part where he tipped her chin up and started telling her what she meant to him, and how she left because she didn't want to hear it while he was drugged and wouldn't remember.

I really liked how Joss kept it real during their talk, about how they didn't do things like talk about their feelings for one another. How that wasn't how they rolled and they were being pushed along because drugs.

"Please, Joss, it needs to be you." All up against her lips, after all the nuzzling? Good gawd! Oowee! Have my panties, Reese! Have them! LOL

"Not a word, Joss." Ha!

"He'd reached up and clasped her hands in his, pressing them over his heart. That was how she joined him in sleep - curled around him, comfortable, warm, and content."-I cannot take this. That was just too much sweetness for me. Gah!

That ending slayed me. I'm slain. I am. That hand grasp, pulling her to him, kissing her temple, letting her know he remembered. Her burying her face in his chest in relief. I mean, I'm slain.

I loved loved your fics. I read it 3 times. You are perfectly transcribed doubts Joss and John. Neither thought the other could love. The idea of the truth serum is excellent. The reactions of your characters are in line with real Joss somewhat gruff and John with its incredible smirk. And the end is amazing Joss happens worried and John who said he remembers everything. Relief for both. It's just perfect. Too bad it n there is no sexytime !

Oh this was so very nice. Loved the way you show not only the love between them, but also the respect. Joss couldn't bring herself to question John in his condition and John really felt bad about leaving the way he had once he saw the look of apprehension on Joss' face. That ending was beautiful. Thank you.

I love the uninhibited John. He's delicious. Joss was so cool, staying true to their relationship and herself, not asking any questions she wouldn't ask pre-truth serum.

The ending was so feely, deep, and emotional. I love that Joss didn't hold back her joyful cry. Sweet.
