Lady, you OWN Carter and Reese! I absolutely ADORE the way that you write them. This was so realistic. No Hollywood version here. All this while remaining true to their POI characters.

As for Mrs. Soni, she is the best OC that I have run across on this site. She seems so real. You've done a fantastic job of fleshing her out, just as you have done with Joss and John. She compliments the canon characters so well, the way you write her.
She absolutely killed me...

...and again with what she did with the room. Moving the bed to the center of the room (mirroring her own wedding night set-up). John's reaction: dead on canon. (Think bury The Lede and The High Road).

POI sure could have used Mrs. Soni to provide some added levity to the show. :D

Sorry to be all negative about this tiny thing, but I doubt Mrs Soni would've borrowed jewellery for her wedding - the parents would've bought it. Also, for the actual (Hindu) wedding ceremony, the bride would wear a red sari or a lehenga/ghagra - I think the colour is meant to represent fertility. Again, sorry for being all pedantic about this. :/
