![]() Author has written 19 stories for Avengers, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Shakespeare, Les Misérables, Harry Potter, Walking Dead, Fringe, Criminal Minds, 100, Librarians, 2014, and Leverage. What can I say? I'm a Czech writer, who dares to write in English. I would love to publish my own original story one day, but I write fanfiction as an excercise. I have never published any of my fanfic attempts - until now. My pen name, Lena Liz Carter, has nothing to do with my real name, I just liked the sound of it. I am a Ravenclaw, a Shieldmaiden of Rohan, a District 10 person, a daughter of Apollo, an Avenger, a Starship Ranger, a member of House Stark, a courtier at Cair Paravel, a Fringe agent, a non-royal Moroi, a member of Prague's Night Watch with a possibility of becoming an Inquisitor later, a Browncoat, a Slayerette, a companion in TARDIS, a hunter at Harvelle's, a rebel spy in Mos Eisley canteen, a marketeer in the little town of Wall, a captain of a Xenica dragon. I fought on the day of St. Crispian. My first fanfic was the Avengers story "Liars And Killers". It's the story of Hawkeye and Black Widow, my favorite Avengers. It begins when Clint is given a mission - kill the Black Widow. It ends shortly after the infamous Budapest incident. You will find out what happened in Sao Paulo, who was Dreykov's daughter, and why did the hospital burn. You'll learn how much Natasha owes Clint, why does she know what's it like to be unmade and why exactly is she afraid of the Hulk. There's also a sequel to Liars And Killers, "Couple of Master Assasins". The story starts at the end of Iron Man 2, and continues through Thor and The Avengers. Where Liars And Killers were about friendship, Couple of Master Assasins is about love. There are things the two assassins would never say out loud - but in the end those things are the only ones that matter. There are also companion pieces to these two fanfics: Being Natalie, drabbles and short stories from the time Natasha was working at Stark Industries, and Blood In My Veins, a one-shot set after the end of CoMA. I also wrote two other unrelated (although more or less Clintasha related) stories: Widow's Farewell and Seven Faces of Love. I wrote a little tribute to Kendra, called Sleep Well, Little Slayer. It's nothing big, I just lacked some Kendra appreciation on the internet. And then there is my first crossover: The Tempter and The Prodigal Son. It's based on the idea that Shakespeare's Prince Hal and Loki are very similar characters. I thought of Loki trying to lead Hal to the life Loki thinks is the best Hal can get. The young prince doesn't agree. I also like to toy with Les Miserables AUs - namely Each Crime and Every Kindness which is dealing with a "what if situation" - Eponine doesn't jump in front of Marius. And everything changes. My next Les Mis AU is pretty much a crackfiction, called Magic of the Revolution. It is a Harry Potter AU - after the First Wizarding War, people still live in fear and are willing to do anything to make sure children in Hogwarts are safe. They even accept Dolores Umbridge as a DADA techer. But after Umbridge goes a little too far, Enjolras and his group of French students draw the line. If you're a Walking Dead fan, and especially a Caryl fan, I have two fics for you - a Caryl one She Stays, where Daryl reacts to Rick's problematic decision about Carol, and The Legend of Us, which is not Caryl, it depicts the stories that circulate about the group after their deaths. And for Fringe fans I have a little romantic Linham story (Altivia and our (blue) Lincoln) called Keep Looking Up. Olivia comes close to losing Lincoln Lee again and this time it's really hard for her to find hope. Luckily she has an advice from her alternate self. Later I tried my hand at the Criminal Minds fandom in Hell of a Woman, where I gave Maeve Donovan a life. She survives her encounter with a stalker and lives with Spencer, until the day he is kidnapped. She helps the team save Spencer and shows the kidnapper that she, indeed, is a hell of a woman. There was also a short fic for the 100, namely for Bellarke. It's called From High Walls Westward and it's a short romantic piece about waiting and coming back. From the Librarians fandom I bring you No Way To Say Goodbye, a story of alternative universe Jake and Eve and what they left behind. And because I love Eve and Jake, I wrote to other pieces for them. Every Human Thing deals with a situation where Flynn doesn't come back from 1611 and heartbroken Eve wants to leave everything behind. Song of the Wolf and the Lioness depicts an alternative universe, where Jake is the Librarian who lost the Library, but Eve has never been his Guardian. What happens when they meet in the forests of Ukraine and have to stop the Brotherhood from gaining the most powerful weapon in the war? And finally, Smoke and Mirrors is a Leverage / Librarians crossover. Expect a lot of magic, long separated twins and some old enemies making a comeback. Currently on hiatus, as I am majorly stuck.
