"Somebody loved me. That is how I survived the war" Hi, this line murdered me. I was on death bed but this one line sent me to fandom heaven. It is beyond a beautiful tale. You've incorporated hurt, ptsd, comfort- all things that were necessary to bring these two together to a state where they can lean on one another for support. 3

Okay- this whole marriage of convenience idea is sweet and awkward. It is one of my favorite tropes and is it weird that I was humming Beauty and the Beast the whole time reading this chapter? And I think I reread the "Marriage is a private thing" piece at least 10 times because omg that was so beautiful and sincere. Rarely do I see such a lovely explanation for marriage. And the part where Enjolras was waiting for her to get home and reflects on when he started to worry for her and why... uggh so sweet 3
