It is both wild and wonderful how the twists still manage to surprise me, I say “oh shit!” And then I go “yeah I remember that!” It’s still so wonderful!

Okay, I know I just posted a comment for the last chapter, but I just wanna say I love how naturally their relationship develops! It really takes time for it to work and it’s just beautiful!

I haven’t commented as much as I would like to, but I have gotten sucked up into the story again. It’s so easy to just fall into it! God everything from the characters to the plot is just all so compelling and riveting! I love it!

God that whole last paragraph really got me “ not all fate is tied to our initial circumstances“ and the description of his hands just oof!

I think what gets me about this one is the acceptance and her deciding to move on. It’s been infatuation up to this point and she accepts that.

One thing I really enjoy, is that Éponine isn’t exactly likable as of this point. She has to learn and change and it’s good. Also “He doesn’t love me” “Thats no reason to jump” (paraphrase cause I can’t remember the exact line) made me laugh

There are some lines that really just hit! Éponine’s line in the last chap about how she’s just the one Cosette knows! The one is this one that was like “an executioner and a saint”
It’s all so goo!

Hi, so idk if you’ll see this, but I wanted to say that I still think about this fic. It’s been about 6 years since I’ve read it full through, but it’s one of those fics that has stayed with me through the years, to the point where I remember the title and can google it. Even just rereading the first chapter I remember why I loved this fic so much. I don’t use ff anymore (and it seems neither do you for one reason or another), but I’m gonna try to reread this fic (unless life gets in the way). I think I’ll try to keep commenting, even if you don’t see it. I hope you do though, just to know that your writing still means a lot to people.

Excellent story—just the sort of "revolution succeeds" story that I've always wanted to find! I love the slow burn romance between Éponine and Enjolras mixed generously with appearances from other canon characters and OCs. The emphasis on politics and constructing a new legal system after the revolution is intriguing and well-planned. On another note, I also love your clearly extensive knowledge of Parisian landmarks and geography. You've clearly either done your research or had extensive firsthand experience. Nicely done!

This is like my... idk, fifth reread of WAMP? It's just so amazing, what with all the political references (with the Committee of Public Safety, Olympe, etc) and the nods to the Brick (e.g. Thénardier's sobriquets, Bahorel's 'treaty' with his ever gaily mistress, and there are so many...) like omg. Sometimes, I really think this IS canon. You do Hugo with so much grace that I am utterly at a loss how to explain my fondness for WAMP. I know you said this was quite the feminist romance, but I think it's not just thatit's so much more than that that it's so revolutionary, and it's so amazing.

I feel happy every time I read this. It's like one of those stories you get back to fondly, and no matter how long the passage of time, my fascination of this work never fades. This is really my favourite out of all your works. ATR was one thing, but this, oh dear, this is the reason why I am who I am to this day. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I don't have enough kind word to say about this story! It's truly a masterpiece. The attention to details is inspiring; I can't even imagine how much research you probably did for this story. Not just the political stuff but things like street names and the omnibus (Which I had no idea even existed).

Amazing story. You made everybody in character and it was gripping all the way through
