 Author has written 15 stories for Ashes to Ashes, and Castle. Um...er... *Cough* Hello? My name is Tessa Thomas. I've been subject to the complete series of Ashes to Ashes. I may be one step away from dreaming, or one step away from obsession. Either way, I've got to solve the mystery of what makes it so intriguing and fight to get back to reality. Because time is running out. *Update 2/4/2020* It's a new dawn so I guess that means I'm back! The world has changed. I have changed. Now I'm ready to get back into writing. I have done non stop writing since February and will have things to publish shortly. I'm kicking it off on May 21st 2020 with the 10th anniversary of the end of Ashes to Ashes. I've missed you guys! I suppose I should be using my time to write more for the fandoms that I love! And that is an excellent idea, one of which I will start on immediately! Hiya guys and gals, and welcome to my profile page! First off, a bit about my journey into the world of Fanfic... Well, It all started back in March 2011, when I was completely and utterly obsessed with The X Files. I'd watched the show, read the books and know everything about it off by heart. So, I went on the internet to find some extra stories involving the characters. And, after a little while, I stumbled across Fanfiction...and my life has never been the same again. Around the same time, I was watching Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes and was struck by the awesomeness of it! Soon after, I started to become obsessed with them too. When I finally got the third series for christmas 2011, I was over the moon. I watched all eight episodes in one night, and a few days later, off I went to register at Fanfiction. Needless to say, it's been like a second home to me - and I wanted to thank you, for managing to read all this babble, and say a huge thank you to all my readers and reviewers - your kind words mean a lot to me! On the note of reviewing and writing, I also wanted to apologise for being AWOL for like, ages! It's the usual stuff, exams to study for and my parents attempts to pull me away from the world of writing - but don't worry, I'll fight to get back here as soon as possible. I've got many ideas for my Ashes to Ashes fics, both old and new (you can check out my current ones here - just keep scrolling!). Anyway, enough of my babble - you came here to learn something about me! -rushes forward for a hug- I've just got Twitter! (At last, my best friend sighs!) so feel free to follow me - I'm known as @AshesOfArcadia in the twitter world! I'll keep you posted with how my stories are going as well as my little crazy theories xD My friends call me crazy, but I don't care - I'm just different from them, that's all. I enjoy all sorts of mysteries about life, and would like to study numerology at some point. I'm also a bit like Alex Drake; I enjoy making connections, usually about the dates, times and numbers involved with my favourite tv shows. On the subject of tv, I'm very obsessed with Ashes to Ashes and The X Files (but you've probably already guessed!) I just shrug off the 'obsession' and relabel it 'devotion!' Have no fear, I do other stuff too! I love reading! But don't ask for a specific genre - they're like Gene's metaphors...all over the shop! Seriously though, anything from spy to spooky, biographies or bitches - I'll read anything once :) I also go for walks in my local fields and forests - mainly looking for Pokemon but we'll skip over that for now... But for now...my tagline is 'Fight The Future' - because we never know what life will throw at us. Alrighty then! Lets get some favourites in here! Guess where caina278 and my very good self went on 28th August 2012? Our Ashes to Ashes Location Tour!! Woo! *claps hands in delight* I know, most Ashes fans have probably already been on one, but still, it was awesome! We visited all the big scenes, and documented pretty much every step! There's still a few we haven't seen, so that's where we're heading off to asa-bloody-p! To top it all off, our final destination was The Railway Arms (The Horseshoe Inn), where we quite happily had a pint of coke. I then decided that writing 'Sat in Heaven with a pint of coke, but Alex won't let me have Bolly', on Facebook would be a good idea. Needless to say, many people were confused! ...And that's not all. We walked passed a building called 'Keats House'. Watch out guys - the Devil's back in town! ...And one more awesome thing...also involving caina278 and me...You know you wanna find out what we did... I knew it! Couldn't stay away, could you? ;) Anyways...On 25th October 2012, we visited the BBC Studios for a tour...and, guess what we saw! Well, I saw it first! ...THE AUDI QUATTRO FROM ASHES TO ASHES!! WOW! I was pretty damn speechless! I just stood there and stared for like, 10 minutes before rushing over and giving the car a hug xD (No matter what caina278 says, I didn't kiss the car!) Needless to say, it was the highligh of my year! Nothing could top it...unless of course, I was to meet the cast...*shrugs shoulders* A girl can hope :) And...Finally, you get to the bit about my stories! :) History Repeating Itself Because Time has Loophole Plymouth Calling The Adventures of Alex What Goes Around, Comes Back Around Cards Of Truth Destined To Follow In Her Footsteps A Flicker of Understanding and Cracking a Case, Confessions and Creating Conceptions are both one shots but I hope (thanks to reviewers) to add more chapters to the latter.
