Greetings fellow lovers of fiction!

I find profiles to be interesting and sometimes awkward things to write. Here are some updates to mine. I'm a daughter, sister, aunt and a proud animal lover. Every time I attempt to re-read anything I've written I find grammatical errors. I hate that. I'm willing to bet that all authors do.

While Addison is not my actual name, it is a family name that I take great pride in. I'm in my mid-30s and when I'm not writing I work as a professor of Child Psychology and Family Studies. I love what I do, but write to help cope with the stress and heartache that comes with working in a trauma-related field, especially where children are concerned. Nevertheless, I wouldn't trade what I do for anything in the world.

I love to write creatively, although finding the time has been somewhat of a challenge. Most of my stories are on a child and family theme. I guess it's my professional life filtering into my personal life.

I'm discovering my love of writing, one story at a time. I've been jotting down ideas and try to think some of them through. Some come to fruition, others are just too out there. Still, I'm having fun in the process!

I love painting more than writing, and music more than painting. All are critical to my soul :)

Oh, and I love coffee most of all. It is my soul mate.

UPDATE:

I've been away for quite some time due to an unexpected health crisis. I've undergone 3 surgeries in the past 5 months, not to mention a house fire that damaged my computer (along with many other things- lungs included). Lucky for dropbox I've still got outlines and notes. I do plan to finish Impossible, but am trying to get myself back into better health and on stable ground. Once I complete it I will post again. Thank you for checking and sincerest apologies to those who were following. It seems that life continuously throws us hurdles from time to time.
