These lines are so hot and well written: Like actually all over his hand. He's soaking, and she's still gushing, and he can actually hear the sound of drops hitting the hardwood floor beneath them.

I have read this story I don't know how many times and never reviewed, and for that I am so sorry. Lately, I've been making a conscious effort to review every story I read, and upon re-reading this one, well, there is no way to truly say how much I love this story.

Not only is it insanely hot (I mean, holy hell the smut) but you managed to insert such emotion into each and every scene, each and every moment, be it him getting her off on his desk or them dancing in his kitchen. The way that you tell the story of the "Always" end scene amazes me every single time, catches me off guard with its beauty, with how well your words pair with the scene we all love so very much. Your portrayal of their first time is amazing, a balance of erotic and emotional that I can't even begin to describe my love for. And everything else, the shower scene, the peanut butter, the conversation they have, is beautiful.

This is by far my favorite "night of Always" story.

And because it's this type of compliment that usually means the most to me, I feel I have to tell you how much I LOVE your writing style. It's beautiful and poetic when it needs to be, and more clipped and simple when it doesn't. You manage to communicate both emotion and action perfectly, in a balance of showing and telling. Writing even half as well as you do is something I can only aspire to do.

This was great! You captured the emotion of that night beautifully, and that was an interesting take on "even the part where..."

I think you characterized Castle and Beckett wonderfully here, taking us through the paces with them, hard and fast, slow and sweet, and through it all, I felt the love and the wonder of the moment shining through.

This story is one of the best post-Always stories I have read. You wrote Kate and Rick true to form and you showed all the love and intense passion that exists between them. I was so engrossed in the story that I read it all in one sitting and then went back and read it again right away.
