What I feel about coming across with this story is like finding a buried treasure chest in the backyard. I'm absolutely surprised! All in character, especially when the squad bantering at the crime scene, I can literally hear their voice lol. Every word they said feel on point. The case is fun,too.

You're a really great writer! I've been scouring through old stories lately and stumbled upon this gem. I don't think I caught it first time around. Lucky me today! Great story. You have a great handle on the character's voices and it was very easy to picture it all. It's actually pretty rare I get pulled into cases within fics but with yours I definitely was. I wasn't even upset when we would "cut" to a more case oriented scene...(a true rarity in my personal reader experience). Anyway, thanks for writing! Great work!

One of the few case-related fics that manages to seamlessly weave in Caskett and a decent case. Well-done.

This was amazing (pun slightly intended)! It felt very much like an episode, though the kind that would be a season finale or sweeps versus the kind that might run just anytime. While you might prefer your day job, I would submit you're good enough to be noticed as a writer.

My favorite line is actually the very end. So many writers don't know when to stop and say "enough" but throughout this story you've done that perfectly and the end was the best example.
