And fans, I really, really, really wish more fans would practice this thought exercise.

There is a trick I wish more writers would try. Reverse the genders of your characters or spin the situation to where it happens to the opposite characters in the story. IE. Instead of Kate getting a job offer in DC, Castle got his offer to write James Bond books here instead of before they got together. He doesn't tell Kate when the offer comes in, instead she answers a call for him or reads an email by accident or whatever and only finds out about it when he's already to the point of deciding whether or not he'll take it and it requires him to reside in England. How would she react? I don't think she'd be telling him she's with him no matter what and trying to solidify their relationship by a proposal or whatever. I think she'd dump him in a rage like she did Sorenson when he moved to another FBI office. The point of this exercise is to think about whether the situation is fair or if some kind of bias is seeping in. Some people through most of this series' run time got frustrated when things that were mortal sins for Castle were treated as insignificant for Kate.

Who kissed Kate? I think it didn't happen in Canon or am I missing something. I think it was an almost kiss with that billionaire guy.

I thought it preposterous he would propose after what happened. Who dies that when someone has lied to you? There is another good one by Weirling as well.
