Alfred had never paid his mother any attention when he was little and she was trying to teach him how to tend for a growing garden though his brother did. But now his brother was gone and had left him to care for not just a garden but a baby and an empty house. How lucky was it that the next door neighbor happened to be an avid gardener and a peace of mind when he had none left. AU

Some days he remembers more than other days. Some days he remembers nothing. But one thing for certain is that he was alone, and the green eyed man in his memories had long since passed. If only he wasn't the only one who could live forever. AU

Two years have past since the window opened for Arthur and six months since he awoke from his coma. Now he when takes time to look closely at his and Alfred's life, he comes to realize that he wasn't the only one hurt that day by the truck.

When Alfred gets the 24 hour flu and is out of commission, there is no one better to hold his head and clean out his rubbish bin than Arthur.
