Harry Potter: Harry/ Hermione - JKR herself has indeed admitted that pairing Ron with Hermione was a mistake and 'for entirely personal reasons' on her part. HHr shippers... we were right all along! Harry/ Daphne I'm also a growing fan of Harry/ Narcissa too Doctor Who: Ten/ Rose Nine/ Rose I detest River Song. I never once felt there was a proper building of the supposed 'relationship' and it felt too rushed and forced, in my opinion. The ideal example of the relationship building is Rose and how her relationship with the Doctor slowly became something more. AND you have to wonder if the Doctor married River because he already 'knew' it would happen because she already knew his Name which is 'supposedly' the only time a Time Lord can reveal his/ her true name. We all know we wanted to gut RTD like a fish for Doomsday. And that we want to gut Moffatt, for more than a few things. Star Wars Revan/ Bastila Shan- I am an unashamed fan of the two KotOR games and love them both deeply. I also loath the way Revan was set aside for SWTOR. BioWare really FUBARed that up. From a personal perspective. From a business perspective it was a good move. Inheritance Cycle Eragon/ Arya ftw :D And Eragon/ Saphira if it's written well (see DragonKnight - Beta 26's work The Uncertain Future). If it's not then it sucks. ASoIaF Cersei/Ned Complaints about various pairings/ fandoms: The recycled rinse-and-repeat HHr stories really, really get on my nerves. I made one for goodness sake! Manipulative Dumbledore, cool calm and collected Harry who suddenly finds he's all-fucking-powerful. Hermione's a wimp and a complete sop. And too be frank, if someone could point out a decent HHr story, that'd be real freaking great. The way some people make Sandor Clegane, the Hound, an absolutely rubbish fighter and/ or the way he's romanticized by the fangirls. I love him too, but holy shit folks, this guy is not a pansy. In fact, I'm pretty sure he'd have some cruel words for the lot of you. C bombs on the way! |
