Update on Safe and Sound:

I have no idea if my readers are going to go to my profile here to see this, but here's a shot. I won't be able to update this week as life hit me like a ton of bricks. I had my alternator in my 97 Civic crap out, and I had to replace it. Instead of shelling out $800 for a repair at the dealership, I paid $160 in total for a confirmation on that being the only issue and getting the new alternator. After a few days of fighting that car, I have won, and the car is running fine. For now.

I also have my adult and motherly responsibilities to take care of bills, house hunting, maintaining the apartment, etc.

I make it a personal goal now to write the chapters first in my notebook to just get the thoughts out and then fix it later. A rough draft to the chapters. I had to make a decision. Not post a chapter this week and give you all quality content next week, or rush it and possibly write a shit chapter. I decided on the first option. I don't want to disappoint you all who read the story to get a shitty chapter just because I wanted to stick to a schedule. Get the job done right, regardless of how long it'll take. It will be up by next week.

5 years later I return! A lot of things have happened in the past 5 years. A brief bullet point timeline to what I've been up to:

1. When I last updated I was a junior in high school and going into my senior year the following fall
2. I was on my high school dance team, taking 3 AP classes, and taking extra curricular classes gearing up for graduation
3. I JOINED THE MOTHERFUCKIN' ARMY NATIONAL GUARD!!! I joined when I turned 17 as a 91B (All Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic)
4. Became homeless in the Winter of 2013-2014 (that sucked)
5. Graduated high school with a 3.8 GPA and passed 1 out of the 3 AP tests I took (APUSH for the win)
6. A couple weeks after graduating I was off to do my 6 month training for the military
7. Came back and shortly after coming back I met someone and I moved in to their place as a roommate
8. He then told me he thought I was cute!
9. 8 months after living with him, taking care of our husky Jazzi, and both of us being in the military, he proposed to me!!!
10. We were engaged for almost a year before we got married 12/30/2016. At a friend's house. Over Burger King. It was beautiful!
11. I was pregnant the month prior in November and gave birth to a beautiful, healthy, happy and bubbly baby girl 07/29/2017. I had a C-Section because she had tied her umbilical cord into a true knot.
12. She is almost 8 months old now, and I'm finally starting to understand what happiness and security feels like.

So now I am back and I'm itching to get writing again!

I will be starting off with a Ghost Hunt story. (Don't worry I've already written the first 2 chapters)
