![]() Author has written 22 stories for Good Omens, Sherlock Holmes, Good Omens, Redwall, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Lupin III, and Tales from the Crypt. UPDATE 15 JULY, 2020: I've removed "More Things in Heaven and Earth" (Good Omens) as I've had some more inspiration for this series and will be expanding upon the one-shots. The other chapters will appear in my next fic, "State of Grace". UPDATE 7 JULY, 2020: I've removed my one-shot "A Certain Touch" as I'm reworking it into my upcoming GO fic, "State of Grace". Never fear, it will return but in a slightly different format. :) IMPORTANT NOTICES: I don't permit reposting of my stories, including translations and podfics. Please don't repost or archive my stories without my permission as I consider it stealing, even if credit is given. All characters and related fandom content are the property of their original owners/creators. I own nothing except any original characters in my fics. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER: Every artist leaves a little bit of himself/herself in the works they create, whether those works be stories, art, podfics or any other form of creative media. For me, writing is a way for me to escape from the humdrum of daily life and also connect with other artists who share a love for stories. Stories (and books) bring magic and excitement into an otherwise rather boring existence for me. I've been dabbling in writing for many years but have only recently started posting my stories online. Regarding my Good Omens fics, I know that there are some people who dislike my portrayal of Crowley, particularly in "The Archer of Serpents". I understand my stories may not be everyone's cup of tea and that's perfectly fine. I don't consider myself to be a particularly good writer but the stories are mine and I feel that I do my best writing when I follow my own interpretations of Canon, even if it's against the current tide of what is considered popular or fanon. Good Omens was released in 1990 and I first read the book 15 years ago, and often read it again and again because it's so wonderfully written. The TV show came out in 2019, so that's quite a long time between the book and the series. Neil Gaiman was at different points in his life when he wrote the book with Sir Terry Pratchett and when he drafted the script for the show. For me, Crowley and Aziraphale's characters are very different in the book versus the show. I love both interpretations. My GO fics that take place in the book-verse will be sorted into the book category; likewise with the TV-verse. If you're expecting to see anything along the lines of "Ineffable Husbands", "6,000 years of pining", "Ineffable Idiots in love", etc. you won't find that in any of my GO fics, so you may just want to move on if that's what you're looking for. I am not saying my interpretation is "correct" or Canon. I write base off of my own interpretations of the Canon (for any fandom), even if it's not considered what's currently popular or trending. Please don't leave reviews telling me to read the book; I've read Good Omens many times over the years and know what's in the book vs. the show. When I see comments like that it just comes across as annoying and condescending. Also, I don't write or read slash or anything with sexual content, especially between minors. You won't find any of that in my stories. So before you leave a review stating how much you hated a story and you wasted your time reading it, etc. please think about what your're doing. It's so easy to tear someone down with words and it really won't accomplish anything other than for me to ignore you or, if the harassment continues, placing you on a blocked list. REVIEWS: All writers love (serious) reviews and I'm a big believer in encouraging other writers. I review every story I read, even if it takes me up to a year or more to leave a review. :) ILLUSTRATED FICS: The following fics have feature illustrations by some amazing artists which can be viewed on my AO3 account. These artists are on Tumblr and Instagram so do drop them a note if you enjoy their artwork. ;) Branches of Heaven (Good Omens, poetry), illustrated by Gemennair The Archer of Serpents (Good Omens, book-verse): Ch. 2 illustrated by Gemennair Ch. 10 illustrated by kokodrawings Soar (Good Omens, TV-verse), illustrated by Gemennair Firm and Constant (Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, book-verse), illustrated by Harveydont |
