Oh. My. Lord. This was, hands down, the best fanfic I've ever read. Absolutely breathtaking! All 51 chapters kept me on edge and I stayed up until 4am because I couldn't put my tablet down. I'm paying for it today and I've consumed too much coffee ;)

Your style of writing is absolutely fantastic and so artistic. The piece was simultaneously a lovely, deep romance as well as a puzzling mystery as it weaved and flowed in and out of the "present." And of course, I cried at least 10 times. You have a rare talent, Hazelmist! Congratulations on such an amazing novel!

Ok, so I realize that you finished this a long time ago, but I only found it recently and I am so happy I did. I’ll gladly admit you made me cry like crazy, but I was also giddy with happiness at the ending! I had a similar experience a couple of years ago - I changed the ending of my book as well after I lost someone close to me. Thank you for writing - it's heartening to know we aren't alone.

Dear, you have no idea of how much I’ve sobbed while reading this chapter! It’s brilliant, and I honestly didn’t realize how much I’ve missed your stories and your style in particular.
I was impatient and excited to read this final chapter, but at the same time, I really didn’t want to because I knew this would be the end of it and I wasn’t ready for this!
I’ll never be thankful enough, your story literally changed my life, I hope you know that. Not only I’ve obtained a truly wonderful friend, but I’ve also improved my English (or at least I hope so), you’ve inspired me into writing again, and you made me discover what I really want to do with my life when you let me translate this gem. You’ve put so much of yourself into it, it’s your baby, and God knows how grateful I am. Isn’t it amazing how a story can change people’s lives?

This will probably be my last comment on this fic, but just so you know, I’ll often come back here to read it again and again, because it’s worth all the tears and sobs and cries and screams and heartbreaks.

I'll be honest, this story fucked me up...but in a good way! So emotional, and I spent the last chapters screaming internally about whether Alec was alive or not. Ughhhhh I can not deal with this! Thankyou so much for such an incredible story! If you ever fancy doing a post-fic fluff story, I would not be opposed. Congrats on this amazing piece of art!

It felt good to have one more cry over this story. Happy for the ending, but still so sad that it's over. Okay so it’s almost 11:30A.M here and I still didn’t have breakfast because I’ve spent the last two hours in my bed reading this chapter over and over again, crying more and more each time, confused as hell. I want to believe that Alec is back once and for all, I want to believe that Ellie didn’t dream or hallucinate, I want to believe that poor Fred, Tom and Keira will eventually have a dad again. And yet, I don’t want to hope and have my heart broken again, I couldn’t take it. The grey area is definitely not my favorite area, lol.
I’ll never say it enough but you’re bloody brilliant and talented and I’ve never loved a story as much as I love this one. A lot of stories are good but yours is absolutely perfect and I’m so glad, proud and thankful that you let me touch your gem. And I’ll always be because having the possibility to work on such an amazing piece of art is a real chance. Your trust is an incredible gift considering how long and how hard you've been working on this story.

Bloody hell, I’ve awaited for this chapter for so long! And here I am, in the bathroom, almost in tears because this story is driving me crazy and it hurts so much to think about Alec being dead and Ellie being so sad and desperate to see him one more time.
