Hi! I'm British and have been writing and RPing since I was a kid but am only just getting into uploading stories for public consumption. I like writing my own RP stories and poetry, but I started writing fanfiction recently when I discovered a liking for redirecting the characters I liked, in the stories I didn't.

I was an accidental Twilighter. I read the first book and hated Edward (prissy stalker with control issues), beyond all reason. When I found out he wasn't in New Moon so much I read it, hoping to enjoy it more. Instead I discovered I hated Jacob (psychotic narcissist with anger management issues), even more. I had about given up when a friend informed me that she felt the same, but that Eclipse was much better. I finally succumbed and had to agree. Jasper, a character I had liked in both the previous books, really came to life in Eclipse and discovering his back story really fired up my imagination. I liked Alice too and I enjoyed their relationship, getting heavily into PreTwilight stories and RP. I dabbled for a while in non-cannon fics, but I keep coming back to Jasper and Alice, and Pre Twilight histories.

I am very firmly #TeamJasper.

Updating & Reviews

I write when I can. I have a full time job running my own business and work comes before writing fiction. Please stop emailing me asking when I'm going to uptdate. I will update when I have something written and beta'd. I have several things in the works, but not a lot of time to write them.

I'm open to constructive criticism, positive comments and general fawning over Jasper's Southern charms. It makes me smile. Please note though that I will always write Edward as dark, arrogant or unlikeable because to me, he is. I also tend to write Bella as having or at least developing a backbone, because let's face it, she needs one.

This way, in my world, a 'Breaking Dawn' equivalent will never have to happen and I won't be traumatised by teenage werewolves getting it on with pre-schoolers.

Current News

Numb to the Pain: NEW. This is a Pre Twilight canon story, set in 1832, based on the history of Jane & Alec as humans and vampires. It's based on an RP SL that I run on Twitter as @SpitefulTwin. This version is beta'd by TheFaintHeart.

Visions of Sanity: COMING SOON. Another Pre Twilight canon story, set in the 1920s, from when Alice wakes up to her new life. This story will be beta'd by TheFaintHeart.

Behind Enemy Lines: THIS STORY IS ON HOLD INDEFINITELY. I had every intention of finishing but I have had some RL issues and some difficulties in the fanfic arena, and frankly, after 8 months it's hard to get back into it. I will try. I want to finish it, but right now, it's not a priority.

Awards & Stuff

Thank you so much to everyone who voted for 'Behind Enemy Lines' in the Sparkleteers Rare Gems Awards 2011. It won 'Diamond in the Rough - most Original Storyline' and was the only JxB fic in its category.

My OS 'Fire & Ice' recently won 2 awards in the Gems Awards: Jasper Round 2011 for Best death and Best Vampire Mating. I also won 'Best New Writer' in the same awards, for which I am totally stoked.

Thanks to all of you who read and support my stories. I appreciate the effort you all take to do so.
