  Ink888 chapter 13 . 8/12 Okay this is why I have a problem with period pieces involving time travel because you are telling me that Bella-21st century went to school in Arizona then Forks has had ap classes in high school seems to be a reasonable and compassionate human being -Swan went back in time to the civil war era married a guy on a plantation who owned SLAVES and not once says a goddamn word. Not even a thought to her head like hey the fact that jasper owns LITERAL HUMAN BEINGS is like the worst most disgusting thing ever. Like the only thing I can think when Bella is strolling around her house or looking out the windows is that she can see black people in fields who she OWNS. like could you not acknowledge that disgusting reality some place in this because you mention a couple of times that slavery exists and at one point Bella states that she is aware that there are slaves at her home. Just a thought. |

I'm so relieved alternate universe human-Jasper has apparently come to his senses and is embracing his marriage to Bella anew, and is owning up to his massive previous douchery. Hopefully his a-hole ways are behind him. Poor Nathaniel and his tragic loss of his one love, Alyson, and his newborn. I won't EVEN begin on my thoughts of the nasty, conniving, shamelessly thirsty thot Alice. Just, UGH! Looking forward to Bella's return to vampire-Jasper. Sweet mercy, that hot blonde is to die for. |
