Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter, and Inheritance Cycle. "A man only learns in two ways, one by reading, and the other by association with smarter people." - Will Rogers "Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." - Will Rogers If I had more time on my hands, I'd probably spend more time on this site. I'd probably make a few more stories, too. But I'd also play way more video games. Current Project: New World, New Hopes (Harry Potter/ Inheritance Cycle) Status: December 27 - NWNH has been discontinued. If anyone is interested in adopting it, send me a PM. I am honored to beta for Lizzie's Last Night on her Harry Potter story Garden of Eden: Remake. It's a remake of her original version that is unfortunately no longer on FFN. Obviously, I love the story and I encourage everyone to read it. Lizzie writes incredibly well and the story is remarkably original. Summary of GoE: The wizarding world is at war against vampires and students are vanishing. Harry has a perfect life, except the man who appears in his dreams, claiming Harry as his, and Harry is starting to question whether this man is even human. Stuff I might work on in the future: Harry Potter / Final Fantasy VII (I absolutely love this series) The World Ends With You (standalone or crossover) Harry Potter / Kingdom Hearts (maybe. An interaction between Harry and Roxas towards the end of 358/2 Days seems like it has potential, to me. Although the section itself doesn't have a ton of good work.) (Has anyone ever considered Harry's lightning bolt scar having some significance in Olympus Coliseum? Especially if Zeus made an appearance?) Harry Potter / Radiant Historia (I played it, and immediately saw many, MANY possibilities) Harry Potter / Bioshock (Think about it. You *know* that this would have the potential to be awesome) I like any crossover where I know both the properties, though. Even if it's very vague - in good stories, everything is clearly explained anyway - you're not expected to know the IPs, though it makes things more engrossing. The thing about crossovers is that you can be more creative: It's not just about how events play out in one universe, it's how they collide and interact. I do hate "such-and-such goes to Hogwarts and meets up with Harry" stories, though. It's just a pet peeve, and it seems too easy a scenario to come up with. So, any story I write will be about Harry (and possibly others) going into another timeline, another intellectual property. I need to utilize a creative license for writing to be any fun. "Crossovers" are not an excuse to let one universe's protagonist take care of another universe's problems. (i.e. don't drag Harry Potter into Final Fantasy VII just to have him fix everything. The world doesn't *work* like that) | |||||||
