![]() Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings. Feel free to drop me a PM . Or add me on Skype. I enjoy and appreciate reviews/concrit so thank you for that. I don't have a habit of reviewing, but I'll try to change that. I am a self-declared, incredibly busy procrastinator. Therefore, updates are weird, frequency-wise, and it may or may not be relevant to know that I mostly write them at the most ungodly hours of the day. So please pardon (and point out) any mistakes I might make and let me know what I can do to improve. I will listen. Unless you're a dumbfuck. In which case I will try my best to ignore you instead of hunting you down with a machete. [9/12/2012] UPDATE: Chapter 4 of Ruins of a Kingdom is up. Very short, but it really was the best place to stop. Chapter 4 of Draconis Dominus is also up. Unfortunately, I need to do some thinking on the plot of Of Learning and Survival, even if Chapter 4 has been done for months. Aaaand I'm out of a beta again. Happy Chanukkah :) WORKS IN PROGRESS 1. Draconis Dominus I'll admit I'm writing this purely because I like HPCW and because it's fun. You shouldn't deprive me of my fun. It shouldn't be a long drawn out affair but updates, as per normal, might be slow. Take it as my small contribution to the far-too-small HPCW fandom. Note on the writing style: It's not meant to be a smooth-flowing narrative. Rather, it's a series of ficlets. You should still be able to get the gist of the storyline at the very least, especially since said story line is not the most complex of things out there. Status: WORK IN PROGRESS 2. Of Learning and Survival My favourite cliche of all: Superpowered!Harry in an alternate school setting. It seems like a massive project right now, but I'm working on it. Status: WORK IN PROGRESS 3. Out of the Ruins of the Kingdom She is human but was raised by the most unlikely of elves. She speaks old elvish tongues but not any language of Man. She haunts him at every turn, the reminder of a time he wishes so hard to forget. She drives him to distraction, the infuriating human girl-child. So what can Glorfindel do but avoid her at every turn? Fail, of course. Strange, unfathomable Lerwe is an OC in the magical Lord of The Rings universe. It's just one of those plot bunnies that hit you and refuse to go away. Give it a chance. I promise it's not a self-insert. I'm cooler than her. Status: WORK IN PROGRESS HIATUS (Sorry) Shifting Perspectives (Formerly titled Time of Change) Our dear and not-so-near Harry Potter re-sits his OWLs but gets sent back into the past where his parents are still studying at Hogwarts instead. Lovely luck, there. He is not alone, though, because the author has thrown in an OC that she has shoved off the Gary Stu platform more times than she would care to count. It should be noted that this fanfic does not centre about HP-getting-to-know-his-parents-and-having-the-ball-of-his-life. Rather, it's about HP's personal development, his denied paternal heritage and the chance to live his own life. I like to think of it as character development 'cause if there's a bone to pick with Jo, it's about HP's 2-dimensional-ity. PLOT BUNNIES! 1. Closure The wizarding world's war hero grieves for his losses while he cares for his godson. Or tries to -- he knows squat about babies save that cupboards should not be thrown into the mix. Enter Bill Weasley. Insert swoon. Someone needs to learn how to live a little. 2. Thievery of the Worst Kind AU. SSHP oneshot. Severus Snape is an undercover investigator and Harry is a distracting menace. |
