Oh hey, I still have a fanfiction.net account.

So... about that fic writing.

Well. I am not promising anything. I am especially not promising anything when it comes to D.Gray-Man fanfiction, which I have not written nor had very much interest in for years. As much as I would like to finish at least one of the fics I have started (by which I mean Clownfish - I would need an actual magical lightning bolt of inspiration to hit for Exorcism Displacement, because that was really not working, and Honeymoon is just dead, my apologies), realistically, it does not look good at this point. Writing is hard enough for fandoms I am currently interested in, and, well, I have had a bit of a mental block for this part of Clownfish. An update, therefore, is... probably not happening.

I do have a few oneshots to post for... another fandom, let's say, at some point in the near future when I get around to it. Since I have not written for said fandom before, I cannot imagine most readers of my fic being interested in those? So, uh, I'm sorry about that. But that will be done at some point reasonably soon (I hope).

I also hope to continue with writing from here on, including longer pieces, but again, it won't be for D.Gray-Man.

Name change is still a thing I will do at some point in the future... i.e., when I finally post those other oneshots.

I haven't managed to write a proper fic or chapter in three years, and even if I did, it wouldn't be for D.Gray-Man anymore. It might have been, before the series took a flying leap off a cliff over a shark pit... and I haven't really read it in a long time? That wasn't really what I wanted to happen with my interest in that series, either. But it did, and ultimately I suppose it doesn't matter because there isn't any actual writing going on for anything. And there have been a few things over the past few years.

Was thinking of a name change, though. I guess that's important?

Next Update Most Likely To Be: Another post about how nothing is being written.

Current fanfictions: What has been posted already - continuing stories and collections. (Updated August 20, 2013 - all.)

The Exorcism Displacement: This wasn't going anywhere while I was writing it, and I have neither the inspiration nor the motivation to either re-write it satisfactorily nor continue as-is and give it a decent ending. Sorry. It was a cool idea, though.

The Clownfish: There is a very, very tiny chance this fic will be updated at some point, which still means it's the most likely out of the three ongoing D.Gray-Man fics I have to ever be completed. As I mentioned in the news update above, I would still like to finish it at some point, but I'm not very inspired to do so, and I have had... ongoing difficulties with writing the current chapter in particular. I still remember what I was planning for the ending, and I still like it, so perhaps one day once I've re-developed the writing habit and have a bit of time, maybe it will happen. In the meantime, though, there are other projects I'd like to work on.

Honeymoon: Never going to be updated. Again, my apologies. The reasons I previously stated still stand: I can't write that kind of humour now, I've decided against a fic where most of the cast would not be DGM characters (and were also extremely one-dimensional as a result), and I also just don't want to write sexual tension anymore, either. Rest assured, you're not missing much: the plot would have consisted of Allen and Lenalee getting into embarrassing situations, then making out. Nothing new there.
