This is actually a very touching story, no matter what you may think, I as the reader say congrats on a very good romance story :)

WoW, I read this 2 times now and in both experiences I was amazed at how you wrote this story in general. This is one of those stories which I'll probably come back to and read again in the future. Job well done mate (Im not australian).

I didn't think this sucked at all. Admittedly, Allen did seem rather gay in the beginning and towards the middle. But you made it work.

I got little confused but that's maybe an understatement :P In any case, I love this story.

Ops I accidently pressed "add this to my alerts" instead of "post review", anyway, finally read this and funny, i always thought that Allen and Lenalee's relationship had already reached this level in the series. They just skipped the "romance dating" part and went straight to "wordless connection/comfort long term relationship married" status lol (i always felt Allen had feelings for Lenalee and vice versa, but both never voiced it out because of the things that are going on with the earl an everything, so everything is kept subtle. Maybe one day when everything is over, but then again, they've faced every hardship together they might not need a happliy ever after as long as they are together.)

I love your style of writing, first of all. The story line was great, I laughed several times throughout. I love the kinds of stories (such as yours) that can get the reader involved. The kind that can make me gasp and yell 'That bastard!' at Lavi when I usually love him. xDD Great job, this totally makes me want to read more of your writing.

That was quite a down-to-earth story. Really touching.

Even though they broke up, they still kept some lingering feelings for each other, which they didn't realize it until that beautiful (and erotic) moment they shared.

I have nothing to really criticize about, but maybe write a more detailed love making scene? I would REALLY enjoy that. (And so would Sparkles.)

You pretty much summed up what I was going to say in the Author's Notes. :P I agree, your story-telling skills have evolved waay beyond this kind of stuff.

Actually, (and yes, I am going to critique this XD Forgive me) what I found the most disappointing is Allen's lack of experience compared to Lenalee's serial dating (Ok, it wasn't quite serial but you know what I mean). XD While the story put emphasis on Lenalee's life since the break-up, it felt like Allen's maturity was taken a little for granted. You could tell Allen had residual romantic feelings for Lenalee, but it was sad Lenalee didn't feel the same (until the end, that is). Maybe it goes back to how Allen is always so gentlemanly (when it comes to women) that we forget he can have a sensual energy of his own.

Besides that, you should know you write great stories. Even in Your characterization wasn't that off, and you write dialogue very well (although the Marie/Miranda comparison was a bit much for me :P). I am sorry I wrote a lot about an old story, but since you're one of my favorite authors, I couldn't resist. :3
