Hi there, fiction fans. I'm a bit new to writing TW fanfiction although I have written about other fandoms so hopefully you won't find my stories absolutely horrific! (fingers crossed!)

Anyway, I write mainly Janto fics (Jack/Ianto for those of you who've been living in a cave). I'm so happy that I can write fics like these and think to myself, it's canon! It's actualy canon! I'm so sick of wanting to write boy/boy stories, but find myself having to come up with a believable back story for why they're together. With Jack and Ianto it just comes naturally.

Wanna hear a little about me? Well, I'm an English Literature student in York, UK. I have a mad passion for writing stories, so much that I usually end up putting other things off (like writing essays) so that I can continue writing. I love music. At the moment my top 5 artists would have to be Captain, Maroon 5, Alphabeat, La Roux and John Barrowman (not just because he's in TW. He's an amazing singer too). As a writer, I also love books, for example Harry Potter, The Northern Lights, a lot of different kinds of manga and, of course, the TW books. And finally, as a huge TW fan I also have an incredible love for TW's big brother Doctor Who.

12/7/09 - Okay, so I haven't been on here much recently and I really need to continue to Torchwood: A Fantasy story, but I seem to have so much going on at the moment. For example, there are three big bits of news that have happened since I last updated.

1. We have a new doctor and a new assistant. I'm very happy with Matt Smith. He's pretty cute in a weird way and looks like he'll make an interesting doctor. Let's hope he can fill Tennant's rather big foot steps. The assistant (dunno her name) looks nice as well. I don't really know much about her as I've only seen pictures of her (she's ginger! The doctor will be so miffed! That's two assistants he's had now that have been ginger while he remains unginger), but I can only hope they make a good team. Bring on 2010!

2. The Christmas Special. John Simm is returning along with Catherine Tate as Donna. I couldn't be more excited! I love John Simm and constantly watch Life On Mars just to watch him in action. As long as he's actually back and not just a flash back, I'll be happy. Donna's return is also a great source of happiness for me. In my mind, she was the best of the new assistants. I know the doctor and Rose were so obviously in love and I do love them as a couple, but the doctor and Donna's relationship was much more interesting. I'm very curious to see how they've brought her back.

3. Finally, the tragic death of Ianto Jones. I've been in mourning over this since Thursday and will continue to mourn for the near future. As my favourite TW character, I will sorely miss him. Along with so many Ianto and Janto fans, I will try to do my bit to protest his death (see for more details) and continue to hope that somehow (it is sci-fi after all) the writers will bring him back.

R.I.P. Ianto Jones.
