Author has written 3 stories for Ocean's 11, Torchwood, and Harry Potter.

If I were a good writer, I would think of something funny and interesting to put here. I can't.

If I were a great writer, I would have written an absolutely amazing fic for you to read. I haven't.

What I am is a lazy, bored, overworked high school student. Which probably explains why I spend my time writing fanfics with absolutely no redeeming feature whatsoever - they are not only OTT but usually wildly innaccurate as well ( my attitude towards canon is basically "I reject your reality, and substitute my own!") Actually, I spend more time reading them than writing them, because as I mentioned before I am lazy.

I like slash, angst, and unhappy endings. I like sarcasm and black humour. I use italics a lot. I hate it when people wRite liKE tHis AnD canT SpeL, and I really hate it when people write in one long neverending block of text. THE ENTER KEY IS ON YOUR KEYBOARD FOR A REASON! I like things that make me laugh or things that make me cry.

I have an ongoing bet with a friend that involves me putting the words "bitter sweet" in every single fic at least once. So far I'm doing pretty well.

Oh, I'm also Australian, which explains why I spell "colour" with a "u". No, I don't have a pet koala, but I do have a kangaroo, on which I ride to school every day and feed with gum leaves, who is called "G'day mate".

... kidding.

I have noticed I love fics about films I actually think are pretty awful, such as HP and Narnia... (please don't kill me people. I'm just being honest.) I have noticed that generally the worse the original film/book/whatever, the better the fics. Then again, Torchwood, Dogma and LOTR are pretty cool. So I guess that theory dies right here and now.

What else? Hmmm... I have a long-standing love of LOTR, with my personal favourite characters being Faramir, Legolas and Pippin. I am a fanatical Sirius/Remus shipper, and my most recent obsession is Torchwood (I adore Jack/Ianto, can't stand Jack/Gwen). I also got hooked on an anime called Ouran High Host Club (check it out - it's got every anime fanfic cliche imaginable. So awesome.)

I will never ever do a songfic, because I have this thing about them... I guess it's because I usually interpret songs differently to the way other people do, and then a read the fic yelling "No, no! This is all wrong!". Plus I get possesive about bands.

... I feel really weird about telling all this to people I don't know, and will never meet...

Note: Just decided to try beta'ing for the first time. I figure why the hell not?
