I'm a vet fanfiction reader of several years, who decided to start giving back to this site. I have HP to thank for getting me into fanfiction, though at times I don't know whether to thank it or curse it (namely when it keeps me from doing something I should).

A warning for any readers: I'm in college, and -believe it or not- I actually have a life, so updates will be ... sparse, to say the least.

Now, on to what you're all reading this for:

Fics:

Morituri: My response to Kraken's Ghost's Brokenlands Challenge. (Got Honorable Mention for it.) The Mark of the Shinigami brings more trouble than would first seem. After all, in ancient times, men would wear the symbol of their god to show their allegiance; what do you think it would mean for that symbol to be engraved into their very souls?

New Frontier: Heh. I don't want to say too much about this one. Just... things are not always as they seem. Heheheheheheh...

Dream Catcher: Yet another 'what-if' plot bunny; I was reading through the Gakuen Datenroku manga, and the first thought I had when I saw the 'Eva' was: "Holy Crap! Shinji's got an Evoker!" Things kinda spiralled from there. And yes, fem!Beserker from FSN is masquerading around as Shogoki. -EDIT-...HOLY HELL! Just what did do to my formatting? Sunova... grumbles and fixes

Repaying Debts: A quick 'what-if' that buried itself deep in my brain. Basically: "What if Shirou learned just how Saber 'died'?" As for the swinging the Nine Lives around... I invoke the Rule of Cool.

Fratricide: My first foray into SGA. I've always wanted to see more about John's exposure to the retrovirus - some lasting impression, some sort of strength, something. While I get why they can't in the show, fics are something else entirely. So I leapt on the chance the instant it presented itself.

ICARUS: My response to Kraken's Ghost's Revenant Challenge. Don't want to say much more, in fear of spoiling it. It's on temporary hiatus for two reasons: First, I want to devote my time to my EVA fic. Second, I wasn't satisfied with the second chapter as a whole, so I had to scrap it.

Endgame: This is my favorite fic that I've written to date. I wrote this basically as a response to everyone saying that RahXephon and NGE being so similar. (And I found that...it's really not. For one thing, Ayato's much more of a wimp than Shinji.) In short, Shinji's sucked into the Twelfth Angel, only to be spat back out in the RahXephon universe. He's escaped the machinations of his father, only to be ensnared by the plots of this world. (Boy never gets a break, does he?)

Too Close: A quick one-shot I threw together after reading 239 for the...third(?) time. Yeah, I'm a Bleach nut, I know. I wanted to show WHY Ichigo doesn't show too much attachment/interest to any of the gorgeous babes surrounding him.

Kunoichi Returned: My most popular fic to date. And also my worst - at least in my opinion. For all of my fics, I need some form of plot or theme. I had neither for this one. So I decided to kill it before it went completely to the crapper. So this one is dead, gone, ended, fin, etc. Although I am contemplating converting it to a one-shot. But that will be a long time coming.

Soft Rains: Another Kraken's Challenge response. Only I didn't enter this one. This one's on hold 'til I can work up a better plot.

Also, a heads-up for any curious: the ONLY fic that I will not complete is Kunoichi Returned. Everything else is still being worked on (or, in the case of the one-shots, already done). So Endgame, New Frontier, ICARUS, and Soft Rains will be updated. Eventually. So don't ask, please.
