![]() Author has written 8 stories for Gundam Wing/AC, and Zombieland. AS OF 10-23-09 oh, wait, it's one in the morning... 10-24-09 - My laptop's slowly going down the drain. I've managed to get around every problem until my word processor stopped working completely. I can't even access any saved files in that program. All of my work is saved in those files. If I can't look at what I've already written I tend to be unfocused and unconnected in my writing, so until I can hunt down the re-installation c.d. for my laptop, my ongoing fics are on hold. Don't think me incompetent though, most of what I've written is backed up on an external hard drive, but even if I transfer the files over now, the program still won't open it, and none of my friend's or the campus' computers have Vista. All is not lost... just a little confused. I do have some fics I can start hand writing, though I prefer to type because of the availability of spell check. I'm dyslexic and spell check is an important tool for me. I feel the need to apologize, but I'm going to resist it. It's not like I told my laptop one day to make my life hell. (Wonders if anyone actually reads this...) 11-02-09 The disks have been found! When I have some time this weekend I'll be playing laptop doctor. 11-07-09 My laptop is being an ass. 11-27-09 I've got Firefox and iTunes working again, and my laptop read a disc. So if all goes well I can reinstall my Microsoft Word Works and get back to writing my fics. 02-26-10 I had to reinstall my computer. Which means I wiped it and it's basically like I've only had it for a few days. Except for all the stuff I had saved to my external hard drive. As of like, two minutes ago I finally have my original word processor back up and running. Next step is to go to class (yay college) then come back and get all my fanfics back where they belong. I've worked a little on a few new ones, but I feel like I should go back to working on the old ones. 03-09-10 My laptop died. As in won't-do-much-more-than-turn-on dead. So until I get it fixed or a new laptop, expect nil from me...(but hey, what else is new?) Um, I'm sure an "About Me" section is expected. That doesn't quite mean I'm a graceful writer about myself... Let's see... Kazeren is kinda a two part name. I'm usually Kaze. Kaze is responsible for all of the stories I've published so far... Ren will come along with some of the darker ones... Not really different people, just different moods that make up a whole. I'm socially inept and I like it that way, which is why I don't change the fact, or review or talk to strangers. And on the internet, most everybody's a stranger. I don't mind random messages and I do love reviews, story alerts and author alerts. Inept I may be, but not rude, I'll respond to messages. I just prefer to have others initiate contact. I think that's all anyone needs to know, as far as my writing goes. Something about Gundam Wing fan fiction that really bugs me. I know that there is a 'correct' way to spell Heero with one or two I's. But if all the official merchandise (i.e. books, character profiles, etc.) spell (spells?) it with the E's, why, oh why would you spell it with I's? Even if the I's are grammatically correct, to me it just seems wrong. It's like using Millard instead of Millardo. Really, what the hell is that about? Millard make my dyslexic brain read "Mallard" and I really don't need Zechs compared to a duck... Find me on Gaia Online. I'm Kazeren there too. Quotes: "Do you talk to the voice in the sky? NO! Who talks to the voice in the sky? I talk to the voice in the sky." Mrs. W. to student about the intercom "BE DEFLATED DADGUMIT!" Mr. S "Please stop, when we stop, so we can stop." Mr. S "This music is alive. You aren't in middle school band anymore...I'll be changing the tempo...this says right here I can go between 80 to 90 beats per minute." does mad little hop "I plan on doing all of them!" Mr. W "That sound can be described as a smell!" Mr. S after hearing badly tuned flutes. "Uh, Ms. Moon? Tomas took his pants off, I hope you don't mind." Ah, a day in AP English... sees Ms. Moon "Ah, Moony-baby!" Fights through crowd to give her a hug. My friend on the last day of high school. "I don't know where you come from sometimes, I just try to hang on and go with it." My Dad told me this one day when he lost the the line of conversation. "She can cover three different things in one sentence, you can do the same thing in one breath."- My dad comparing me to Abby from NCIS "Is that a couch? That's a couch. Did you see the couch?" I saw a couch (obviously) in a dumpster while driving through a town. "Oh my god, he's got a scooter!" It Takes a Thief "Throw her psycho ass in the brig!" - Abby NCIS Looks in rear view mirror "This car is riding my ass!" Hits brakes to turn into her driveway. "Brake check BITCH! What now!?" My awesome best friend. "I don't know what it was. I was thinking 'llama' and typed 'emu'." - Friend and his password. I don't think either of them were his password anyways... "Oh my god! I went to log into my facebook and I looked at the user name and saw Reverend Front Funny Pants." Same friend as above. Me: "My dad. He thinks my mom is the epicenter of all our problems..." Friend: "Sooo...your mom caused the apocalypse or she's going to?" "You are the wrong person to have dyslexia. You know so many big words. I can't figure out if you're ironic or a paradox. You're both. You're an ironic paradox. And a paradox is ironic, you just added to it. It just kills me when you use big words, but I can spell them." - A friend's rambling. "Does any one else see the moon?" -Me "I'm in the mood." - Friend R "The moon! The moon, you perv!" - Friend K I wonder what the correct spelling suggestion my spell check would give me for 'Mwahahahhaha'? - A late night musing. Why do I search for a pic of Trowa and Quatre and get Dragonball/Sailor Moon porn? - Another late night musing. NEWS: So, I was re-reading Haphazard Situations, and I found two glaring mistakes in the first chapter...ouch. Those will be fixed as soon as I figure out how to do so without deleting the whole chapter. Also I would like to point out to anyone interested, that Ground Rules is NOT a Mary-Sue. No romance. Zip...mainly because I don't quite think I can write romance...never know 'till we try...(hums). I've got a fusion in the works. Somewhere: Why does this oneshot have Story Alerts on it? It's a oneshot...not that I'm not flattered, but still. Somewhere's sequel is out, Serendipity. Check it out. Rats and Ground Rules - I've got Rats in the line-up for a rewrite. I never did like the way it was going... I'm working on the potential last chapter of Ground Rules. Sidenote: college is insane. Here are some explanations for chapter three of Ground Rules. Masashi Ikeda - Director of both the Gundam Wing series and the OVA Endless waltz. I know, director, not writer or creator or whatever. Odd choice. I don't remember what I was thinking at the time, so I'm just kinda going with it now. Tourism in time. - Stephen Hawking once suggested that the absence of tourist from the future constitutes an argument against the existence of time travel - a variant of the Fermi parados. Of course this would not prove that time travel is physically impossible, since it might be that time travel is physically possible but that it is never in fact developed (or was cautiously never used); and even if it is developed, Hawking notes elsewhere that time travel might only be possible in a region of spacetime that is warped in the right way, and that if we cannot create such a region until the future, then time travelers would not be able to travel back before that date, so "This picture would explain why we haven't been over run by tourist from the future." La Mesa means "the table" in Spanish, figure the rest out. |
