![]() Author has written 3 stories for Dragon Ball Z. Hey, there! I'm Divineffej. Fic writer extraordinaire! Well... I think I'm decent, at least. I primarily write for Dragon Ball Z, though I like plenty of other fandoms (mostly anime-related). I've been writing since June of 2017 and I don't intend to stop anytime soon. If you're here, it's probably because you read Fledgling Deity, by far my most popular story. I've just come out of like... a 6 or 7 month hiatus, and I intend to finish it. Cross your fingers. Out of Order is... dead for the time being. I didn't plan it out very well and I'm not sure of the direction I want to take it. I may pick it up again at some later date. Oh, The Humanity is in a similar situation. As the story grew closer to the fight with the Saiyans, I grew more anxious about how the battle would end up. I just couldn't decide and that prevented me from writing more. I want to pick it up, but I'm focusing on other things right now. So, maybe later. Why I was absent from December of 2017 until June of 2018 Basically, I started working on a new story with the determination that I wouldn't post until I finished it. Then, I didn't finish it and started a new story with the same determination. I didn't finish that, either. That happened a few more times, then I started an original fiction and even a second one. Right now, I'm putting a lot of work into that second one (it's about 36k, at the moment). So, that's what I was doing while I was gone. I've got around 20k for at least two stories, one of which is for One Piece. I've also got one at 10k. I may start posting some of these, soon. All in all, I think I've written over 200k since I began this hobby. I'm pretty happy about that. Stories I worked on during my absence A Future Bright - A story about future Gohan. He survives a rather nasty fight with the androids and takes shelter in a nearby wilderness. It's there that he discovers the Lookout and meets an old friend of his father's at the top. After learning about the Time Chamber, he gains hope that he might actually become strong enough to defeat the androids. Gohan and Trunks then enter the chamber. Finding His Gi - This is actually a story for Dragon Ball Super. It begins after the battle with Frieza. Gohan's eyes are opened to the importance of keeping up his strength. He begins training again and Videl joins him, frightened by Gohan's account of the battle, the destruction of Earth, her and Pan's deaths, and the rewinding of time. The story goes through the events of Super with a focus on Gohan as a more important player. I even have plans for him to unlock a new, interesting transformation based on his Ultimate form that will allow him to compete with Goku and Vegeta. Videl will also gain some abilities that will make her fairly formidable. The Little Green Dot - A story where Cell destroyed the Earth and Gohan has to go on a space odyssey to find New Namek and use their Dragonballs to bring it back. During the fight with Cell, Gohan fails to transform and Goku panics, taking him to Yardrat then returning in the hopes of defeating Cell. He doesn't come back. Gohan has to come to terms with the deaths of everyone he ever knew and find a spaceship and crew to search the galaxy for New Namek, having different adventures along the way. Shinsatsu Pirates - This is the One Piece story, featuring an all-OC cast. It follows Canvas on his journey to the new world to win back his Marine ex-girlfriend. She transferred to a new base in the New World to receive training that would set her on the path to be an Admiral and decided that it was best to end their relationship, as Canvas couldn't follow her there. However, after Canvas stumbles upon a Devil Fruit (The Doke-Doke Fruit, which allows him to push things with impressive force), he's no longer content to let things be. He'll show her that he's strong enough to handle the New World and then they can be together again. |
