I am working on my Ph.D. thesis. It is a multidisciplinary approach to various aspects of the Harry Potter series. I am also exploring the fan fiction culture that has emerged out of it. It would be really helpful if you could post my survey link so that I can collect some basic data on why people engage with Harry Potter Fan Fiction and what they like or don't. WOW read all 21 chapters in one go and I’m in love one of my favorite stories by far and I really hope this gets updated

As Katie was new on the team (as a second year, though there’s a very, very, very small chance she made the team as a first year, since Harry was the youngest Seeker, not player (iirc), but someone (can’t remember who), said that first years never made the team), then she’d never have played with Angelina and Alicia (both third years), even if those two had been on the team the year before. Fred, George and Wood must have been, and it does suggest that Wood was Captain the year before (young, as a fourth year). Also interesting given Charlie was, in theory, only seven years older than Harry, but that’s not the point. The point is that, unless the previous third Chaser was a seventh year (which makes it even weirder if Wood was Captain, though it could simply have been someone terrible) and they were training Katie up so they’d have a good one for the next year, then the Chaser trio wouldn’t have experience with all three of them.

Oh yeah he had! In the 1st book, the Weasley twins were the ones who helped a struggling Harry load his trunk onto the train! The movie version left that out.
