Reviews for Harry Potter and the Ticket Backwards
bardockssj4 chapter 2 . 9/6
The subversion of the usual tropes has already given me a good feeling about this. Will leave a review again at the end.
Dexter chapter 12 . 8/18

flooingfleur chapter 16 . 7/27
I was wandering the halls of FFN, wondering if I could find something that would satiate my need for a well-written, decent length, non-ooc hp fic. Nearly bested, I opened up the author page from one of my staple fics, and searched the reviews for someone who seemed like they might show some promise in the way of quality stories. I clicked on your name, and I was not disappointed! All this to state (in a very roundabout way) that I loved your fic. Well written, quite believable and entertaining of course. I binged through it in one sitting, and as I progressed through the chapters I found myself more and more dreading the inevitable end of this storybefore I came to the end and happily found there's more to be had!

I had a great deal of fun. Thanks, wordsmith! I'm off to read some moar.
Francis chapter 16 . 7/7
Yeah, this was great! I especially liked the sapient pearwood nod during trunk-shopping, and all the HP fic trope subversion you've scattered about (sorting hat WHAAAT?)

Also, DAMN is this well-written! Creative, non-obvious, and with realistically detailed characters with flaws and foibles!

I am so happy holy shit. I NEVER use author alert but you bet your ass I'm setting it up for this. Haven't used it since like 2011.

Keep up the good work, this is fantastic!
Guest chapter 2 . 7/7
OHHHHH DAMN.

So there I was trawling at midnight, reading trash crackfic and slashfic. I don't even *like* slash, but I had reluctantly come to the conclusion that there are no more actually good stories on for HP that I hadn't already read.

And then, what do I stumble upon but the link to the sequel to this! The summary quality alone let me know I was in for a treat, and one chapter in (I never read the first chapter of time travel stories, there's no point) that's already bourne out.

I am so. excited. Three stories! Three!

I will get little sleep tonight. Thanks so much for this!
emelan chapter 16 . 6/19
I loved it. Thanks for writing and I look forward to it's sequels.
alix33 chapter 1 . 6/18
Did you mean "stuffed out of sight"?
Did you mean for Dumbles to say "my guesses have"?
Tricksyhobbits chapter 16 . 6/7
Thanks for a lovely story! I’m gonna hurry to read the next book. I really enjoyed your take on going back in time with the butterfly effect of events and idk I’m not articulate but I enjoyed this a lot so thanks!
TimeTurner394 chapter 16 . 6/6
Hi! I binged the entirety of this fic today and it's absolutely fantastic! I love how "realistic" it is for this trope. Your Harry genuinely feels like canon!Harry and he reacts to situations the way I feel like he did. I love that you didn't resort to bashing and your characters feel natural. I'm so happy that there's sequels to this fic because I absolutely love this universe. Also, the bit when Harry is in Diagon and he passes his weird handkerchief off as "muggle-fashion" is hilarious and so very true to canon and JKR's writing. 10/10
BYoshi1993 chapter 16 . 4/30
I really liked your story. I think you’re changing enough to subvert my expectations. I really like what you’ve done. Great job!
Guest chapter 16 . 4/27
I haven't read fanfics in a looooooong time and am so glad I came back to find something as decent as this ;D
Really great work writing a convincing and entertaining AU with enough detail to suck you in while totally avoiding most if not all pitfalls other AUs tend to attach to. Biggest on being, incredibly drawing out *everything*. I liked that here, everything was so down to earth, just the right length and not unnecessarily dramatic.
Also great job on describing meditation practices. Seems like you do it yourself? I am somewhat intrigued which tradition you follow.
Looking forward to the completion of the series! : )
