Hey, this is Kama-chan, aka ladyofnite. Don't ask...it's a looong story. I also go by Minara, a lot of the time, so don't be surprised if you see me sign things with that.

So yeah, I like Harry Potter. No wait, that's an understatement. I LOVE HARRY POTTER! But, to be honest, I didn't like the last three books, so I disregard them. As far as I'm concerned, Sirius will never die! I don't like the movies either- i hate that they left sooooo much out.

A friend forwarded this picture to me, this was how I always pictured Sirius. Not with the really curly hair and the less-than-flattering looks. But, this is really only for my own amusement. Gary Oldman played Sirius excellent, it was one of the only redeeming parts of the films.

Character-wise I love Hermione. She's my favorite, though I still can't believe that she wasn't a Ravenclaw. I can deal with most Harry's (ESPECIALLY WHEN HE'S WITH HERMIONE!!), but I have never really liked Ron. Okay, I found like...3 fics, or something, where I could stand him. I like the Slytherins too- Severus and Draco and the all-mysterious Blaise Zabini. I didn't like girl-Blaise and I liked him more when I thought he was Italian. Not that it bothers me that he turned out to be black, but it just shattered the illusion in my head. sigh. I've also fallen more and more in love with Theo Nott, as I've found some characterizations of him that I really like. Of course, only when he's with Hermione is he worthwhile ;D.

I can deal with Slash, though I am not a personal fan. My fav pairing is obviously Hermione/Harry, though I do like to see her with Severus and Blaise. I don't like those stupid Marriage law fics, but I do like when she's really adopted or whatever. I don't like when she goes instantly uber-girly, that's just never something I saw her as. And I HATE her with Ron Weasley. A match made in heaven that is not. I enjoy Molly, Ginny and Ron-bashes, but I love the twins. M'kay, I think that's all I have to say.

Hey all! I do promise, my fics will be updated as soon as possible. Lately, however, I've become addicted to NCIS. I love Tim McGee! I've been devouring both re-runs of past seasons as well as the fics present on this sight and NFA, so I'll inevitably begin writing those fics. I've already submitted one challenge response and there are several other vying for my attention too...

How to Tell if You're a Writer
-If you talk to yourself.
-If you talk to yourself about talking to yourself (i.e. 'I wonder why I talk to myself?')
-If, when you talk to yourself, you sometimes speak as if talking to another person (i.e. 'Okay, so have you ever noticed that the word 'deliver' could mean removing someone's liver?')
-If, after uttering a profound piece of wisdom like that above, you stare at the cookie in your hand in awe and say, 'Wow, this is good stuff for sugar highs!'
-If you live off of sugar and caffeine.
-If people start to notice that you tend to check your e-mail every day for a week, then suddenly disappear off the face of the planet.
-If your e-mails tend to be pages long and incredibly random.
-If, when replying to someone else's e-mail, you are sometimes so random that you fail to address the original message altogether.
-If, no matter where you are in your room, you never have to so much as get up to reach a pen/pencil and paper.
-If the letters are starting to wear off on the keys of your keyboard.
-If people think you might have A.D.D.
-If you think it'd be cool to have A.D.D.
-If you start constantly talking in third person, past tense.
-If you think about making lists like this, and start giggling for no 'apparent' reason.
-If your friends don't even bother to look funny at you anymore when you start giggling for no apparent reason.
