Hi, I am UnleadedCorgi, and I write fanfiction, a lot. I just don't end up publishing it...

My name is Claire, you can call me Claire, or Corgi. Heck, you can call me Ninjamonkeybannaneaterwinatoothpick if you want. I'm not fussy.

I was born, raised and live in Australia, so I tend to write like an Aussie. Sorry guys, but what do you expect?

My favourite colour is Blue, animal is the sausage dog and planet is Jupiter. It's just so big and round like. My favourite star constellation is Orion, and I am absolutely in love with outer space. If ever there comes a time when we can go to the moon on holiday, I'll be the first to sign up, despite the obvious cost issues :). I am genetically left handed, but I write with my right hand.

I am in my second last year at High School. I am good at: English, Maths, Science, Geography, History, Music, Drama, ITC... pretty much any school subject. I throw myself into my work full pelt, and I reap the rewards. I play the piano, sing and act, but I cannot dance. I have quite a few good friends. I also have a few enemies, but they know who they are.

My dream is to become an author (like a lot of the people on here). I also want to run my own Bed and Breakfast in Devon (that's in England, fyi), and travel all around the world.

I first started reading fanfiction for Farscape, and within days of starting, I published Absentis Monumentum at Terra Firma, where I also go by ariacle. My fanfiction repertoire includes pieces for Farscape, Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Torchwood, Star Wars (the orignal trilogy), NCIS, Merlin, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Castle and Bones. I tend to get obsessive about characterization, and hopefully my writing reflects that. There will be moments when my characters are out of character, but mostly this will be because it enhances the story or because the story is not meant to be taken seriously.

Canon pairing I write for:John/Aeryn, D'Argo/Chiana, Sam/Jack, Vala/Daniel, McKay/Keller, Jack/Ianto, Jack/Gwen, (yeah, I ship them both - Janto as my OTP, and Jeck/Gwen because the chemistry is so obvious), Han/Leia, Tony/Ziva, Arthur/Gwen, Ron/Hermione, Ginny/Harry, James/Lily, Percy/Annabeth, Angela/Hodgins, Castle/Beckett, Lanie/Esposito and Booth/Brennan.

My non-canon pairings are Sheppard/Elizabeth, Ronan/Teyla, (although I personally think that they are canon, at least in the first three seasons...) and Neville/Luna (because their adorable). My slash list is Merlin/Arthur, the occasional Harry/Draco, Remus/Sirius, John/Sherlock (and I'd put that up the top with Janto, because even my brother believes it's canon), and Ryan/Esposito.

You might notice that some characters are in multiple pairings, such as Arthur/Gwen and Arthur/Merlin. Mainly that's because there's a pairing I like in the show (in the earlier example, it's Gwen/Arthur) but there's a different pairing I like in fanfiction (Arthur/Merlin). The other case of that is Lanie/Esposito (my in show ship) and Ryan/Esposito (my fandom ship). I don't count Janto and Jack/Gwen in this category, because both are technically canon.

I have a strange taste for Angst, but I tend to be a very fluffy author. I can't help it. I don't like having my characters unhappy with me...

Reviews are welcome, the good ones, the bad ones, and the just plain ugly ones. I live off feedback, so please drop a word or two in. I really don't care if you want to flame my work, just dro a word in. Seriously, I gave my best friend a chocolate bar after she read my story (Premonition Nightmares) and told me it sucked. If anything, that just encouraged me more.

I understand that Scissors can beat Paper, and I get how Rock can beat Scissors, but there's no way Paper can beat Rock. Is Paper supposed to magically wrap around Rock leaving it immobile? If so, why can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody, a rock would tear that paper up in two seconds. When I play rock/ paper/ scissors, I always choose rock. Then when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper I can punch them in the face with my ready made fist and say, "oh, I'm sorry, I thought paper would protect you, you jerk!"

UPDATE: June 7th, 2011

Today marks my return to fanfiction.

For all 45 stories that I have floating in my head, I have planned out a publishing/writing schedule, so that by the end of this year, all I will have still in progress will series that I am sure will take me years to actually finish writing.

So, with that in mind, I invite you to join me for the next six months as I go on a publication/updating spree.
