(General) I joined fanfiction more to read than to write, but I realize that to hone my writing skills I need to actually write. You'll probably find that my favourite stories list is significantly longer than my actual stories list, but all of my favourites are well-written stories, or have an enrapturing plotline. To anyone who's going to go through my favourites list, you'll find that they're a lot of slash stories (which means that they are boyxboy or girlxgirl, aka gay). I really don't care if you just stop reading my profile now and never return again, but if you do then that's a bit silly since it's not as if I'm forcing you to read anything you don't want to through these words. Your favourites are what you enjoy and would recommend.

(Compare and Contrast the Following) My current obsessive fandom is MARVEL'S The Avengers, and I'm working through a series where I depict all of the Phase 1 movies and the characters' reactions to the events, as well as forging bonds between them and furthering relationships.

They will be in this order:

1 - Thor (Inverted Perceptions)
2 - MARVEL's The Avengers (Enlightening Nuances)
3 - Captain America: The First Avenger (Cementing Heritage)
4 - The Incredible Hulk
5 - Iron Man
6 - Iron Man 2

Each film will have its own fic, but the timelines and plot outside of the movies will be sequenced - each a part of the larger series. It deviates from the movie storyline when my fic begins, so all of the Phase 2 films, as well as any future Phases and MARVEL's Agents of SHIELD series, will not be included or referenced beyond select details that supplement certain settings and characters. Since plot elements are developed in the Cinematic Universe not only frontward but in reverse, new aspects of the past fleshed out in future depictions, there will most likely be aspects that are contradicted in my writing. I cannot go back and rewrite - reconceptualise - what I have developed every time another fact is revealed. In particular I am referring to Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which changed everything. For simplification, delete all Phase 2 films and the facts revealed in AOS from your heads, as I am not applying them to my series.

Yes, some of the MARVEL One-Shots will be included, but not 'All Hail the King', nor any short following, unless its chronology is different. All the shorts that follow the one aforementioned are after The Avengers film, and therefore not a part of my alternate timeline.

Pairings will be kept canon, but I'll be exploring the pairings of my choice in other fics (Despite Circumstances) as excerpts to the main series so that whoever would like to read them can. (This is not true on AO3, so be sure to read all of the tags attached if you move from here to there, as I'm incorporating whatever pairings I desire into the main storyline.) Also, in regards to the Black WidowxWinter Soldier debacle, it is evidently not concurrent with the Cinematic Universe as of yet that I am monopolising as a database, so therefore will not be present unless individually developed.

This series is likely on a permanent hiatus. I apologize for the incomplete nature of it, but life gets in the way of such endeavors.
