![]() Author has written 31 stories for Heroes, Torchwood, Farscape, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, NCIS, Doctor Who, Angel, Hunger Games, Avengers, and Firefly. I'm largely taking a break from fanfiction in order to focus on my own fiction, but I do have some fanfics in the planning stages: TV-wise, I love Game of Thrones, Castle, QI, NCIS Los Angeles, Sherlock, Dollhouse, Bones, NCIS, Firefly, Numb3rs, Mythbusters, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Life, Farscape, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5 and Stargate SG1. I also like a lot of old (old to me, anyway) comedy, like The Goodies, Monty Python, Allo Allo, The Two Ronnies and Hogan's Heroes, and Blackadder, less old but still funny. Basically sci-fi, cop shows, very selective comedy and a couple of others for a good mix. My favourite book at the moment is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, but that position is incredibly changeable. My absolute favourite author (ie. liking all their books) is divided between Jodi Picoult, Terry Pratchett and Lois McMaster Bujold. I guess I'd say I like Picoult for real-life, Pratchett for comedy and Bujold for sci-fi/fantasy. Also up on my awesome list of awesome authors are Tad Williams (massive confusing epic fantasy), Elizabeth Moon (sci-fi saga and fantasy), JRR Tolkien (duh), Eoin Colfer (real-life fantasy (yes, it's a thing)), Karen Rose (really twisted murder mysteries), Rick Cook (very old fantasy), and M.K. Wren (post-apocalyptic dystopia). I also quite like Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. I'm an 18 year old girl and I'm currently studying psychology at university. I like writing (obviously), reading (also fairly obvious), dancing (only when there's no-one watching), singing (very badly), drawing (only slightly better), swimming (slightly worse), and diving (appallingly). I'll beta just about anything if you want grammar or spelling checks, (there is nothing worse than a great story ruined by lack of a beta pass) but please check my profile if you want anything more specific. |
