Hi there. I'm an aspiring writer (aren't we all?) from Belgium. I found this site when I was still young and foolish, hence the many spelling mistakes in my early stories. My branches in humour are dry irony and complete absurdity.

My main interests are classic novels, films, operas and musicals like the old Zorro series and Victor Hugo's books. Though the latter can stretch things very long, I am totally addicted to him. I'm also a great fan of Stephen King, Robert Harris and Gonzalo Torrente Ballester's Don Juan. My favourite musical singer is a country fellow, a certain Hans Peter Janssens, who is currently playing Javert in Les Mis on West End ( the right guy on the picture, people).

Now and then I become weak and watch some commercial movie like Van Helsing or Pirates of the Carribean. I am not really interested in the story of VH, but I do wonder how such opposites as VH and Carl became friends, which explains my two oneshots on them. Johnny Depp is just great in PotC, but I am very sorry they've turned Norrington in such a jerk in the second movie. I was just becoming very fond of him! And he's just very sexy with principles, not so much without them. Other favourite people from the movie bussiness are Alan Rickman, Matt Damon (especially The Talented Mr. Ripley) Gérard Dépardieu, Emma Thompson and John Malkovitch.

Lately, I've been converted to Harry Potter and Sherlock Holmes slash. I want you all to know that was not a voluntary act and I blame the writers who did it - I'm not naming any names - endlessly. My punishment? They have to read my whining over how great their stories are.

If you're here to complain about my blasphemous stories in the bible section, it will not help very much. Most of them are written for those comments, so I can read reviews saying 'God is merciful' in one sentence and 'I hope you'll rot in Hell' in the next. All very amusing, really. I have nothing against faith and you have my full permission to believe me destined for great warmth in some place downstairs, but tell it calmly if you want to have another reaction than a chuckle.
