I'm not sure if the formatting has gotten weird on the FF app or what the issue is, but this story seems like it is missing chunks for me? your writing seems great from what I did read and I will probably come back to it on my PC at a later date

I realize Darcy has gone through this whole evolution, but this doesn’t make sense to me. The first time he encounters Wickham in the streets on Meryton calmly chatting with people, Darcy backhands him and threatens him with prison. Now, Wickham pulls a gun on him in the presence of Elizabeth and he’s going to put him on a ship with money and a new suit of clothes to start over elsewhere. I can understand Darcy cleaning up his messes in school out of nostalgia for their boyhood friendship, but any sympathy would have ended when Wickham targeted his sister, especially having witnessed Georgiana’s months of suffering as a result. I say hang him high.

I believe this and the one previous are my favorite chapters in all of JAFF. The layers you’ve added to Darcy are so very satisfying. I’m grieving for Dicky already. How blessed they were to have each other.

Elizabeth not knowing his first name but still agreeing to marry him is one of the funniest things I've read in fic. Thank you for literally making me burst out laughing.
