Can you write a sequel? This story needs more attention, STAT. And a little more smut wouldn't hurt. :)

I really can't say anything that hasn't already been said. This is my fourth time reading this and will not be my last. I'm sorry I didn't review before now.

wow...this has got to be the most beautifully written fanfiction piece that I've ever read. The writing and the vocabulary are excellent and it is full of wonderful detail that makes your fic all the more interesting.

The only thing that confused me is the whole priest/archdeacon/judge/minister all-rolled-into-one thing going on here. From the way you describe Frollo, this is obviously based on the Disney movie. But in the movie he is a judge/minister and the priest/archdeacon is an entirely different character.

Oh hot damn!

This story was wonderful! The writing was so detailed that I was shocked to find it, actually. I found the characterization of Frollo to be spot on with what I think of him in my head, and our favourite gypsy was ridiculously clever... Well done! The Entity was a very nice touch, and I was curious to see how he would try to attain his desires.

And the plot twist. Lovely. It was just so unexpected that it basically stopped the flow of the story for me and made me sit back, thinking, "Score Esmeralda."

Let's start with the bad stuff, shall we? First and foremost, Disney!Frollo is not the Archdeacon, nor is he a priest. I was VERY confused for a while because I thought the actual Archdeacon was hanging out in the room somewhere but just never got any description. Also, don't use paragraph breaks in the middle of one person's speech. That didn't help my confusion as to what the hell the Archdeacon was doing in this fic.

Other than those things, though, this was a near-perfect Frollo fic. He was in character, Esmeralda was in character, heck, even SATAN was in character in this fic. I think more Frollo fic should play with Faustian bargains the way this one did, but I doubt if any of them could so it so subtly. That was really the marvel here; your unwillingness to spell out the judge's damnation. Great, great fic.

amazing story! just amazing! you really had me tricked when esmeralda pulled out that knife...lol. i didn't see it coming. esmee and frollo are very much in character. and you wrote esmee to be such a strong woman in this story, i love it!

I did not finish it yet but I had to leave, and I really wanted to fave it I love this, it is so amazing and beautiful, and unlike anything I have read on Fanfic! The only thing I found confusing was calling Frollo the "archdeacon" b/c I think of the old guy from the movie. But yeah, so great job!

Very cool fic. I love Frollo's little schizophrenic evil alter-ego, and the little "Hellfire" lines snuck in at the end... very nice touch. And I'll admit, you had me completely surprised when Esmeralda outsmarted our evil Archdeacon - good for her (but bad for him).

this was so descriptive it took my breath away, and that last twist where esmeralda didn't actually drink the wine, wow. i was totally convinced frollo would, ahem, win. please please write a sequel, where frollo can actually, uh, fulfill his primitive urges.
