the dark is like a wight

so mysterious so cold

eating at my skin

at my loneliness within

the dark is like the wind

so invisible at first

until you feel it

it's hunger its thurst

it's eating at me

it's in the strangest places

a feeling of being watched

like a lion watches as it paces

'help' is what i want to cry

but because of you it eats inside

my arms have nothing to hold

in this world so wary and cold

the dispair in my heart

fed by my tears

makes me wonder

why is it you that sneers?

dark so deep and numb

tears so hot

why me why now

all i ask you is 'how'?

how was it me and you?

why these harming feelings?

how did i come to care

about in which was not really there?

i figured i would wait

until i saw you again

all i think is 'what?'

and of 'when?'

when did this feeling start?

this feeling of the lonely heart

do you feel it too
