Okay, so I decided to redo my profile type thing because my old one was really rather boring and lacking in personality. Alright, so, I am The Emcee. Pleased you meet you. How are you doing?

Anyway, I am a writer, obviously. I write fanfiction, poetry, and sometimes a short story here or there. I draw as well, but I'm not quite successful at that so lets just stick with the writing bit shall we? I guess that you've all discovered my deep attraction to yaoi, and if you haven't, well, you just did. I simple cannot help myself; when I see or read yaoi my blood just races. It's a passion of mine that I've had since I was a young teenager. And probably one that I'll carry to my grave. I can just see myself, a ninty year old woman, reading yaoi online.

Alright! So, I suppose you want to know my hobbies and likes and dislikes. Well, that would take a few days to write and explain all of that so, at the bottom of this profile page I shall attach two links that will link you to my DeviantArt page and to my LiveJournal page so you can read all about them. As well as go through my artistic stuff such as drawings and writings and poetry and whatnot.

Now then, um, I suppose that I should tell you a bit more about myself, other than hobbies and likes and dislikes, so here it goes. My name is Dana and I live in the United States of Awesome Slushyness - also know as the United States of America. I was born a long, long time ago, back in 1990, so please, do not scorn this old lady for still writing and posting on this site. I graduated high school in 2008 - horray for the class of '08! - and I attended classes for two years at a community college. I am happy to announce that I have finished my school there and am moving on to ITT Tech to earn my degree in Criminal Justice. That's right, Criminal Justice. Originally I was going to because a history teacher but I decided against that because I don't think I'm mature enough to handle children of any age under 15 in a classroom setting. The desire to strangle and kill them would be too great and I, personally, do not want to end up in jail.

Now, I bet you're all wondering: 'Why don't you pursue a career in writing or something like that if you like it so much?' Well, I'll have you all know that I was considering to take that career path for the good part of my second year at the community college. But, I decided against because 1) I don't like having a set time schedule for my writings like authors have, 2) I don't think I could write a long novel or fill up a book with poetry, and 3) I don't think I'd be successful in that career field and since I'd like to start a family sometime in the future I'll need a career that will put bread on the table.

But no matter what career I choose, I shall always be writing, so count on me publishing more stories on here in the future. As a matter of fact, there are a few that I'm working on right now. I don't know when I'll actually sit down to start on them, for my classes at ITT begin in about two weeks, but I've been doing subtexts and research, and I am working on both story-lines and all that jazz currently. Just be patient.

Now, for the closure, I wish to thank everyone who has read any of my stories. I have quite a few of them, ranging from when I first joined back in 2005 to the present. I must say, I cannot believe that 5 years have passed. I think I've grown and matured a lot. I do see a difference between how I wrote back then to how I write now. I only hope that I've improved. Anyway, thank you all for readin my stories. And thanks to all of you who have reviewed them and offered me suggestions and guidance. I really do appreciate every word in each review. Thank you all so much!

1/25/2012: As of right now, considering my class and work schedule, I'm aiming to publish Hell High -Year Two Changes Everything in March. There's no set date as of yet because I want to complete all of the stories I'm currently working on (Setting You Free, As I Breathe You In, and On the Corner of First and Amistad). I just wanted to let you all know.

4/25/2012: I'm willing to write commissions for anyone who is interested. I'll write one-shots, stories with multiple chapters, etc. Whatever you want. Just let me know! Thank you. :D

6/25/2012: If you guys can't tell already, I'm taking a break from writing wrestling stories. It kind of started when I realized a little mistake in Hell High Year Two and it escalated from there. I'm writing stories in other categories, but not wrestling. Sorry. =(

2/24/2013: After I've finished Kiss Me Under the Mistletoe and For Better or For Worse, I won't be writing anymore fanfiction for a while. I want to start on my own original stories, which I'll be posting on Fiction Press, Novel Joy, and Read Wave under the pen name DE Mills. That's all.

8/21/2013: I'm currently in the process of moving house. I have been working on a little something something fanfiction wise as well as my own original stories. But I'll be very busy packing, moving, and unpack for the next month or so (yes, I have that much junk).

9/18/2013: Well, I've officially moved out of my parents' house and in with my friend. I still need to unpack a few things and organize and clean everything, but it's done and over with. I'm still working on my own original works, but I've also been working on some fanfics so, hopefully, they'll be up soon. I don't have internet at my new place yet, but we're supposed to be getting it soon.
