ATTENTION!

Important Author's Note

First off, I just want to thank you all for reading my story, following it, favoring it, and reviewing it. I know I keep saying it, but I can't say it enough. I've never gotten so many reviews for one story or as many views. So it means a lot that you all kept up with me and my random updates. I know at times it was a good while in between updates, but I believe it was worth it in the end.

Now, down to the nitty-gritty.

I've read the reviews and I've seen the requests for a sequel, which must mean that I did something right, right? Regardless, there will be no sequel. A sequel wasn't in the mix; it was never planned and I never even entertained the thought like I usually do. This story was a one-time deal; no sequel and no short stories to accompany it. What you have now is all that there is and will be. The last chapter wasn't hinting at one or anything like that. It's just that I started the story in the Shire and with the old tale of Hollis Baggins and I thought it made sense to come full circle and end it there. I'm sorry if some of you were looking forward to a sequel, but it's just not going to happen.

Also, I've decided to take a break from fanfiction writing for a while in order to work on my own original stories. I have an account on Fiction Press under the name DE Mills and I have two stories up right now. If you want, please go and check them out and let me know what you think! I want to publish them eventually and I'd like to get as much feedback and help as I can before I do that. I'll probably be back to fanfiction writing in a couple of months, but other than that, I'm easing off of it, at least until Star Trek Into Darkness comes out on DVD. And I'll be posting most of my stories on here on AO3. My pen name on AO3 is the same as on here, so if you're a member, check me out and stuff.
