Hello! I'm ZachaRicO! (that's pronounced Zak-uh-REEK-oh) Welcome to my fanfiction page!
What do I do over here? Why, I write, of course! What do I write? Lemme show ya:
Advanceshipping: One of the main reasons I joined fanfiction. I always loved this pairing, whether I knew it or not, and now I can share my ideas with the world! In general, this is what I read when I'm looking for something good to read.
Sonic-Pokemon Crossover: I've looked all over this website for good Sonic-Pokemon action, and I was shocked at how mostly disappointed I was! When I think of a crossover between these two worlds, I think of Ash and Sonic working together and becoming best friends. I think of Shadow finding a new Maria-figure in the form of one of the Poke-girls. And how many stories have I found that actually use either of these? I'm not exactly sure, but by my estimate, I'd say LESS THAN 20. That's out of over 200, not including my stories! And only ONE of them gives Shadow a new Maria-figure. That being said, the spark that ultimately pushed me to join the community was an idea for a Sonic Adventure 2: Pokemon Crossover. The rest is history...in the making!
My Projects:
Pokemon: Adventures in Alola (Ongoing)
Ash and his mom are going on vacation in the Alola region! Joined by his girlfriend May and Professor Oak's cousin/Alolan form, Ash embarks on a different kind of adventure as he discovers the secrets and amazing new Pokemon of Alola!
Prologue: Ash arrives in Hau'oli City with May, Delia, and Samson Oak. He and May explore Hau'oli City and begin to discover Alola!
Chapter 1: Adventure's Beginning
As Ash and May settle into Alola, they discover a new adventure waiting for them!
Chapter 2: The First Trial
Ash and May set off to take on the Island Challenge in their first trial! But Team Skull is right around the corner, ready to make things difficult.
Chapter 3: The Melemele Grand Trial
Ash and May prepare for their Grand Trial: a battle against Kahuna Hala! Their rivals are also eager to test their strength; who will emerge victorious?
Chapter 4: The Akala Journey
As our heroes prepare to set off on the next phase of their Island Challenge, they begin to discover that not everything in Alola is as beautiful as it seems.
Chapter 5: Coming Soon!

DO'S & DON'TS OF WRITING REVIEWS
DO'S
Be Constructive - Give feedback that helps the author make their stories better. Point out what they do right, and suggest corrections for what they do wrong.
Be Concise - Not that it needs to be as short as a tweet, but you shouldn't write 1000-word reviews for an average story. Keep it short and sweet.
Be Honest - If there's an aspect of a story you really didn't like, don't gloss over it. That's part of constructive criticism: suggesting corrections to make stories better.
Stay on Topic - Reviews are meant to critique a story, not promote a cause. Focus on critiquing the story in your review. If you want to talk about anything else, do so in an appropriate context.
Use Good Grammar - Is it really that hard? Use commas, periods, etc, please. It's just easier to read, and more likely to be taken seriously.
DON'TS
Write a Laundry List - No one likes it when someone constantly criticizes what they do wrong. If all you do is write a list of everything you found wrong in a story, then you're doing it wrong.
Bash Other Reviewers - Reviews are about the story, not other people. If you want to warn about trolls or bullies or the like, do so in the appropriate context.
Write a Monologue - In-depth reviews are one thing, but 1000-word reviews are too much. Please keep it short, or your review is less likely to be considered.
Be Arrogant - Some elements of writing are purely stylistic and up to the discretion of a writer to use. If you disagree with how they use an element, fine, but don't claim that their style is bad writing just because you disagree with it.
When reviewing my stories (and any story, really), please follow these guidelines. Failure to do so will at best make me ignore you, and at worst block you or report your review for spam. Thank you.
