Hello everyone!

I apologise to those people who are watching and waiting for "How things Are Meant To Be"! I know there's been nearly a years delay on that, and to be honest I have very little excuse ... well, I have an excuse but it's rather personal so I don't want to get into it. Please be reassured that it's not abandoned, and I have lots of notes, plans and idea's for that story . and a tonne of research has gone into it, but I'm finding it difficult to write anything. I'm currently challenging myself to complete a couple of NaNoWrio's to finish some fics quick (June and August at Camp Nano), so you should be seeing some writing soon.

As it is, at the moment, I'm taking a break by dancing around in the doctor Who realm for a little bit, hoping to get myself going again, so although I'll be uploading and updating a Doctor Who fic, that doesn't mean you should give up hope on HTAMTB.

So if you want to add me to your author alert, then feel free, but until then thank you those people who took the time to review my stories, and leave me encouraging messages, and keep an eye on my profile for regular update messages (see below).

Not much to say really, I'm 21, 22 as of September 2012, living in England, with my mum. I'm currently an unemployed aspiring novelist.

Like many people on here I want to be a published author, but I hold no illusions about how hard that is.

UPDATE: AUGUST 14th 2010: O.O I. Have. A... BETA READER. I'm in shock, slightly surprised and ETERNALLY greatful to Stiehl. They read my "choices" fic, and I (as always) went to read my reviewer's profile page to see if they had an DW fics (not that I'm obsessed) and saw they had a beta profile. So I tried my luck and they accepted! I'm so happy that I actually did a strange weird sort of happy dance that is totally embaressing but totally worth mentioning. . In other news, Chapter 10 is going okay, but slowly, so I'm about 1/4 of the way through so far. bear with me and I'll get it to you asap ... and hopefully beta'd *bounces*

UPDATE: AUGUST 3rd 2010: I know it's late, life decided to butt in, but Chapter 9 is finally finished. I can't give you details on Chapter 10's completeion date, I haven't started it yet ... I've literally this minute finished chapter 9. UPDATE: JULY 25th 2010: So ... with the brilliant help of BananaDaiquiriTimeLord I've worked out how to get chapter 8 to you. IF you can't see chapter 8, please PM me with your email address, and I will email you the weblink directly to it. Apparently it works when I do that ... don't ask me why :-/ ... on another Note, Chapter 9 is running a bit behind. I want to make sure it's exactly how I want it, because I'm delving into the Doctor's darker nature slightly and I've got to be careful plot wise too... also (I will confess, I'm good like this) I've been delayed somewhat by playing with some photomanipulations because a very dear friend of mine has said that she'll make a website for me to host my fiction on ... whith a special section for my Dr Who fic ... So ... yeah ... images for that took up a surprisingly large protion of my weekend. :p Keep your eyes peeled though, I'll post here when I upload chapter 9 so that if some of you can't access it you can let me know. hugs and kisses ;)

UPDATE: JULY 18th 2010: O.O For some reason, today, my chapter 8 isn't showing on the website ... is anyone else having trouble with this, or just me? I don't want to mess around with it if it's fine and maybe/accidentally loose the reviews on it... someone lemme know via PM?

UPDATE: JULY 17th 2010: So! Based on some great constructive criticism from YamiNoTomoyo and Apocolypse Thou I tweaked Chapter 7 for TCWM and reuploaded it, I also kept their suggestions in mind and retweaked my copy of Chapter 8 before I also uploaded that yesterday. You guys are getting spoiled 'cause I seem to be on a roll atm. I've already started Chapter 9 which will be an interlude sort of chapter (not based on a season 5 episode)... haven't even got a page down yet so don't expect it by the end of the weekend. I'm hoping that now I've done the first season five episode with 10th Doctor, I've worked out all the kinks I needed to to get his speech just right. Thanks also to Kirsten (she's not logged in so I can't pm my thanks :( ) as she helped point out that 11 doesn't babble as much as ten and I was missing that. (that's more me trying not to do huge paragraphs :p I'm bad at that and make a concious effort not to ... but to pull of 10th Doctor...)... anyway, to sum up chapters 7 and 8 have gone up this week, they've been fixed up thanks to help from "Kirsten", YamiNoTomoyo and Apocolypse Thou, Chapter 9 is already on the cards, and if I'm REALLY REALLY lucky ... I may have found a beat reader ... keep your fingers corssed for me. Fairfarren xx

UPDATE: JULY 15TH 2010: Just uploaded Chapter 7 (9800-odd words). The first chapter where I'm including an episode from Season 5. It's a bit nerve wracking actually, I'm not sure how it's going to go down :/ ... Chapter 8 is practically written, I just need to type it up and post it, so it should be up either tomorrow, or maybe Friday since I'm going to see Twlight: Eclipse tomorrow with my mum. Keep a weather eye on the horizon, I've got to AT LEAST Chapter 9 planned out in the immediate future.

UPDATE: July 10th 2010: O.O I just this minute transfered over 6,000 words (Chapter 7 of "Choices") onto a new memory pen to bring to a computer with internet and upload it for you all ... when I got onto this computer with internet ... "There is an error, please format the drive" ... So I've just managed to loose chapter 7 ... thats taken me two weeks to write... all because I cut the document onto the memory pen, not copied it. :( Bear with me, most of it is hand written in a book so I should have it up by next weekend ... SHOULD. I'm so sorry guys, it was such a stupid mistake and i'm kicking myself over it .

UPDATE: July 1st 2010: Work's been keeping me busy, so I've not actually gotten much written of Chapter 7 at the moment. Then again, Chapter 6 I polished off within 24 hours so I may have it done by the weekend but, as always, no promises on my part. Yesterday I didn't have much to do in the afternoon, an appointment got cancelled, but instead of cracking on with the next chapter, I had a sudden flash of inspiration for a Dr/Rose music video... and I have to say it's one of my best videos ever, so I've decided to share. UPDATE: June 21st 2009: OKIES! Chapter One of "How Things Are Meant To Be (Working Title)" Has just been posted, this is my Harry Potter Fiction that I'm still searching for a beta for. Chapter Two will be up, literally, as soon as I've typed it; it's all written it just needs to be put on the compi lol. Enjoy guys!

UPDATE: June 10th 2009: Still no Beta Reader. :(. I'm seriously considering putting the story up unbeta'd until I can find someone to go through it ... or see if someone volunteers lol. UPDATE: MAY 8 2009: The search for a beta reader is going really slowly ... sorry for that, but the fact I'm writing again has got me working on some of my old projects too and even some that I'd never posted on here before so there should be some kind of updates very soon, particularly because it's coming up to the summer holidays. :D. I just posted a one shot I did called Nowhere In Sight, and I'm currently typing up the first two chapters of a New LOTR fic which is the most epic sized chapters I've ever managed lol. Wish me luck in finding a Beta Reader for my HP fic, cause I'm not posting that without it being checked.

UPDATE: MARCH 12 2009: Ok ... I read an unfinished and abandoned fic called "The Silver Mask" by sweet-apple-pie that has totally got my creative juices going again, so I'm writing again. All of the fics I had up WILL be completed at some point, but for now I want to focus on this new one I've come up with. I'm currently searching for a Beta Reader to check out the first few chapters before I post them for you guys.
