Grosspointeblankfan chapter 9 . 11/23/2015 Brilliant! I enjoyed it very much. So different from others, so complete. Thank you for a great read! |
Raining Constellations chapter 9 . 9/7/2015 I just finished reading this wonderful, incredible, beautifully-written story. And I enjoyed every part of it. I loved the plot, how everything connected, and especially how you perfectly managed to portray all of the characters as well. This fic is definitely now one of my favorites, you have an amazing talent. I could go on and on about how great this story is, but I'll just say this one last thing: thank-you so, so much for writing this. It's authors like you that keep me up until 2 am on this website! Once again, thanks. :) |
Guest chapter 9 . 3/16/2015 Damn. Wanted to read this but the ending is basically outright saying he's gonna die, and that's so bleh, so no thank you. |
EndlessBlue chapter 9 . 2/14/2015 So, this story is several years old, but it still deserves way more than 54 reviews because it is amazing. I can't say I fully understood all the timey-wimey details (same for the show itself, occasionally) but the important part, the heart of this story, came through loud and clear. Donna was wonderful. The Tenth Doctor was just...so outstandingly perfect, and even though I tend to go back and forth on how I feel about Rose/Eleven, their reunion was really, really necessary to my happiness by the time I got to that chapter. Rose - you changed her in all the right and natural ways. I really enjoyed how you handled her character. And mad props for starting this off with Midnight, because that episode is one of my favorites. All in all, this was just a thoroughly well-done story, and I loved it. |
whoficky chapter 9 . 6/27/2014 Oh wow! This was a beautiful story! Very complexly woven plot for fanfic (not that I don't love the more customary simplicity too!). I have to say, I wasn't prepared for the angst-fest and ending on a not quite happily ever after note. But that just made the story better because it was more realistic. I felt so much for all of these characters because you did such a good job of making them feel just as real as when I'm watching an episode of Who. I just love everything about this work. Excellent job! Thanks for giving me several hours of good reading! :0) |
bardsgrl4evr chapter 9 . 3/7/2014 Loved this! Curious as to who the little boy (teen) is though. This was a wonderful story. You did a great job. |
Hairi Esh Mooncake chapter 7 . 11/27/2013 this is... heartbreaking.. |
Hairi Esh Mooncake chapter 5 . 11/27/2013 It's a bit hard to imagine that the Doctor wouldn't change for the better with Rose around. He is like as miserable as in the series, and he has Rose Tyler by his side! Oh well... |
Hairi Esh Mooncake chapter 2 . 11/27/2013 oh, Rose... how many hundreds years old are you? |
Hairi Esh Mooncake chapter 1 . 11/27/2013 wow, this is good! like a real proper episode. gonna read on |
yinyangren chapter 9 . 7/8/2013 Wow. Just wow. This just blew me away. I can't even express myself, haha. I loved this piece and it did break me that Rose didn't get to be with Ten the rest of that regeneration. However, how you've written River/Doctor is brilliant. The entire timey-wimey is spot on. I loved how you expressed Rose's feelings and thoughts on River (because that is kinda how I feel about her as well; I'm not a big River/Doctor fan). I love how you weaved younger Rose's views and how everything is explained in the last few chapters. Nevertheless, I feel you've tied up the entire Rose, River, Doctor complicated timey-wimey relationship just fantastically. You're a brilliant writer. |
CastlePhoenix chapter 9 . 7/8/2013 I literally do not understand how this work hasn't got more reviews. I just read the entire thing and I've been absolutely blown away. The last few chapters were phenomenal. I don't know what you did to me but I think I went through just about every single human emotion that exists. I'm devastated that Rose and Ten never met up again. That whole period after Rose had "died" and the Doctor thought she was dead was heartbreaking. His grief was so raw and so humbling. Honestly, I have no idea how Rose stayed away. I guess the Doctor letting 25 years pass before he came back was a bit of a shock though for her. Still - who cares about time lines :P Personally, I cannot see Rose with anyone other than the Tenth Doctor and I was hoping desperately that somehow Ten would stay around. Unfortunately it wasn't to be but surprisingly the way you wrote Eleven - I was glad Rose had found the Doctor again. No matter how weird I found it picturing Rose together with Eleven I was still relieved they had each other. Obviously this Eleven's a bit different to Eleven of the TV series (i.e. not asexual at all) but you wrote him with enough love for Rose that I could almost come to terms with it not being Ten. Almost (sorry!). So, thank you for taking me on this journey. Now I've just got to get back to all that study I neglected for my exam on Thursday! It's been absolutely fantastic and I enjoyed every chapter of it. This was an unique look inside the Who universe and I really hope that more people come to find this story. You deserve recognition for this. It was brilliant. |
