Hi! I'm Jordy.

Writing is one of my favourite things, and there's nothing quite like the satisfaction when a story I've been lovingly shaping in my head finally comes together on the page. I say 'finally' because I am, as you'll have noticed if you follow any of my fics, a slow writer. This is for several reasons: because I don't get much spare time, I get distracted very easily, I'm usually working on several stories at once, I can only write if I'm in a particularly good mood, and I'm also a perfectionist who finds it very hard to 'draft' chapters - I can't bring myself to commit a sentence to the screen until I feel it's spot-on.

During the past couple of years I've got divorced, had to move back with my parents and developed rheumatoid arthritis. I've also had intermittent depression which as you can imagine, is not conducive to writing. BUT, I never abandon my stories and they're never far from my thoughts. Thanks to everyone who's kept reading and reviewing despite the lack of updates (which I find as frustrating as you do)

I only write in game fandoms at the moment and I tend to sympathise with the villains and darker characters (they're often more charismatic than the good guys) and enjoy writing from their POV :) I'm a huge fan of Tomb Raider and the Elder Scrolls series.

I hope to get Reborn in Shadow finished soon-ish and then I can concentrate on my Oblivion stories. Lucien, you are SUCH a distraction ;)
