If only it were possible for you to write an alternate ending to this. I literally sobbed out loud. This was so beautifully written and your writing talent needs to be acknowledged by the world. So fantastic. Please consider writing more Lisa and Jackson fanfics. I have some ideas in mind.

fucking GOD this is good (though the ending kills me... they were so close!) Can’t believe how well you got inside their heads. I genuinely had no idea what was going to happen with this story and am amazed at how believable you made each twist & turn of the plot.
Now all I need is fanfic of this fanfic where they manage to ride off in the sunset together lol. No seriously, I get the way you had to end it ... all those mistakes, one of them had to trip him up at some point, and for him to end it, sweetly, with her, was probably the kindest way he could possibly have gone.
This is so so good, I can’t believe it. Thank you for writing and sharing.

After finishing reading this, I felt oddly numb but... numb sort of in a good way lol...? Well, to be honest, after such an emotional and mental roller-coaster, I am not sure how to feel or what to think about this but I really felt compelled to write a review which is something I don't do anymore so often nowadays.
I just checked how old this fic is and wow, been 5 years already but everything about it, from chapter 1 to the last one, was brilliantly and masterfully written and thought out. The evolution and progress of their turbulent relationship and all the pull and chemistry that could be felt even in the movie was just palpable here and I really enjoyed reading it all. The end left me in mild shock but then again, somehow, I also expected it. Would be interesting to see what Lisa would do after shooting Mathis but either way, thank you for this heart-wrenching, mind-boggling and also heart-numbing experience. It was definitely worth it.
