I 've been reading fanfiction since 2001 in the categories of Pitch Black, Pirates of the Caribbean, Doom, Firefly, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Hobbit, Twilight, Star Trek 2009, Mass Effect and probably more that my senile, sleep deprived brain can't presently remember. Everything I can get my hand on and almost every spare moment I have, I read.

Over the years I have somewhat defined my taste in fics by comparison between them. I've read the masterpieces, which some professional authors could only dream to match, and I've read the talented first tries, who I've then followed through their amazing progress. I have also read the awfully plotted stories, and sloppy grammar, and all of that have made me more aware of what makes a story I would read and what doesn't. It has also improved my English (I hope), as it's not my native tongue.

One night, inspiration found me when I couldn't sleep, and so I now lay my own awkward (!) first tries out there. Be gentle, as I have always attempted to be. The public forum is a terrifying realm, because anyone can trample on your dreams and fantasies without being held accountable. We understand this. And still we lay it out there, so I say again; be gentle. But be honest too...

I own my OC's and my plot lines, so no stealing. Other than that, yeah, I wish... Fanfiction is per definition non-profitable, so let's just stick to that, m'kay?
