Aha! I read your little author’s note at the end. This whole chapter reminded me greatly of Beowulf and then you go and mention kennings. How absolutely delightful!

Apparently I had never written a review for this chapter when I read this story years ago, so here is my updated review!

I absolutely love the two together and can't wait to see what becomes of them (again-since I've honestly forgotten).

It was great to see how upon her return from Rohan to Gondor, Lothiriel took on the women of Gondor's court and outsmarted them. It was great how you showed she is now appreciated by the men of Rohan for all she has done.

I just want to say that even though I don't often read ff anymore (I pretend I'm too old for them), I have really enjoyed your stories. You are a marvellous author, you have a real talent for bringing the world of Middle Earth alive and I will have to take a look at your original works!
