Footprints in the Sand
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"

how easy it is to read 100 pages of a popular novel?

how everyone wants
front-row-tickets to concerts or games but
they do everything
possible to sit in the last row at
Church?

Isn't it strange
how we need to know about an event for Church 2-3 weeks
in advance so we can include it in our agenda,
but we can make
adjustments for other events at a
moment's notice?

Isn't it strange
how difficult it is to learn a fact about God and share it
with others;
but how easy it is to learn, understand, extend

and repeat gossip?

Isn't it strange
how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers

say but...
we question the words in
the Bible?

Isn't it strange
how everyone wants a place in heaven but...
they don't
want to believe, do, or say anything

to get there?

Isn't it strange
how we send jokes in e-mails and they are forwarded

right away but
when we have messages to send about God,
we think about
it twice before we share it with others?

IT'S
STRANGE ISN'T IT?

Me: (ashamed) God: The first person who made your sandwich

today was sick & I didn’t want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn’t afford to miss work.

Me (embarrassed): okay

God: Your phone went dead bcuz the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn’t even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Me (softly): I see God

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn’t think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me: I’m Sorry God

God: Don’t be sorry, just learn to Trust Me…. in All things , the Good & the bad.

Me: I will trust You.

God: And don’t doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.

Me: I won’t God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.

God: You’re welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children.
